Business Development Representative DACH (m/f/d)
You will be the first commercial conversation hotels across Germany, Austria and Switzerland have with Mews, engaging with hotel owners, operators, finance leaders, or General Managers within hospitality. Many hoteliers in DACH still run their properties on disconnected, older systems, and moving them toward a modern platform starts with someone who understands how a hotel actually runs. Mews is building the platform hotels run on, and this role is where a strong career in hospitality tech sales begins.
You will own the top of the funnel for your territory: who you contact, how you approach them, and which conversations become meetings. Your work shows up directly in pipeline, and you will work side by side with SMB Account Executives, including in person about once a quarter. With the experience you build here, there is a clear route toward an Account Executive role.
What you would do
Prospect hotels across DACH in German and English, and book qualified meetings for your SMB Account Executives
Own your pipeline: track outreach, follow up consistently and keep every opportunity moving
Work closely with SMB Account Executives, including travel about once a quarter for tradeshows, conferences, blitz days and trainings
Be the voice of the customer internally, sharing what hoteliers tell you so Mews can improve how it sells and what it builds
Use AI to research accounts and tailor outreach before you reach out, and check what it produces against what you know about hotels
AI Fluency Level 2: In this role, AI is a regular part of how you prospect. You use it to research a property before the first message, draft and refine outreach, and summarise calls, and you can show that it makes you faster or better at booking meetings. You also question what it gives you, and you know when a message sounds generic or gets a detail about a hotel wrong.

What you would bring
Previous experience working in hospitality, and a desire to build a career in hospitality tech sales
Required fluency in German and English
Living and located in either Barcelona, Spain or Germany
AI Fluency Level 2 or the equivalent hands-on experience using AI regularly in your own workflow
An outgoing, customer-oriented approach, with a genuine interest in new technology that brings innovation to hospitality, and comfort talking with customers, partners and colleagues across countries and organizational levels
A structured, organized way of working, the ability to take feedback and adapt quickly, and a habit of bringing new ideas, in a fast-paced company, on your own or as part of a team
Nice to have
Previous sales experience, ideally in outbound prospecting or another target-based role
Familiarity with hospitality technology such as property management or booking systems
Experience working with colleagues across several countries
This role includes a base (listed in the job application) and additional earned commission for qualified pipeline and closed won deals you sourced.
