Senior Technical Recruiter

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with Software Engineering leaders to source, recruit, and close talented engineers across Verkada. You’ll own the full recruiting process and work closely with hiring managers to build strong pipelines, develop effective recruiting strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience.

What You'll Do

Own the full-cycle recruiting process for Software Engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, process management, and closing

Partner closely with Software Engineering leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruiting strategies

Build and maintain strong pipelines through proactive sourcing and creative engagement strategies across LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms

Recruit across a range of Engineering roles and levels, from ICs through Manager+

Present Verkada and the Software Engineering organization to candidates and help them understand the opportunity, team, and technical challenges

Drive recruiting processes forward while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining strong communication with candidates and stakeholders

Track and document candidate communications and activity in Greenhouse

Deliver a high-touch, transparent, and thoughtful candidate experience

What You Bring

5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or technology company

Experience recruiting Software Engineering talent across areas such as backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or other technical disciplines

Strong ability to build trusted relationships and influence hiring decisions through collaboration

Ability to operate independently and navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Local to the Bay Area or open to relocating to San Mateo, CA

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
