What you’ll have to do:
Advises on contentious matters (including court proceedings, dispute resolution, public authority inspections), mostly in civil areas;
Prepares written court materials, represents the Company before the courts of law or other authorities, coordinates settlement negotiations and trial preparation, all to achieve desired results for the Company and ensures the proper organization and archiving of case files;
Advises on litigation strategies, manages various requests from other departments within the company, drafts responses/letters to authorities, partners, clients on e-commerce, retail or on other areas of interest;
Offers support for a wide range of consumer protection issues, working closely with customer care representatives to settle escalated product claims and deliver on our commitment to delight our customers;
Ensures representation of the Company’s best interests by providing support in developing and maintaining effective relationships with partners, external law firms or public authorities;
Monitors and advises on debt recovery procedures and insolvency procedures;
Issues legal opinions on all legal matters of interest to the Company and drafts, reviews and provides legal advice on contracts, agreements and other legal documents relevant to the Company’s activities;
Analyzes domestic or European laws and regulations, identifies regulatory developments relevant to the Company, and provides clear summaries and practical guidance to the relevant departments on legislative changes, their potential impact, all to comply with applicable legislation;
Provides legal support to local legal teams in other jurisdictions where the Company operates.
What makes you a good fit:
University degree in Law;
+ 2 years of experience in a similar position;
Practical experience in the dispute resolution practice;
The ability to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines is fundamental;
Availability to travel;
The ability to operate in a dynamic environment;
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (both verbal and written);
Highly organized, analytical, task focused in a fast-moving environment;
Advantage: experience in retail or tech companies;
Fluency in English
