Job Summary:

We're looking for a Senior Public Relations Lead to join Klaviyo's growing Communications team. This is a senior role for a strategic storyteller who can turn complex product and business narratives into compelling, media-ready stories, with a focus on corporate and product communications. You'll be a critical player in building out our AI and agent story for the enterprise and help tell it as we reposition Klaviyo as the autonomous B2C CRM. You'll partner directly with our Head of Communications and work closely with our C-suite, especially our Chief Product Officer, to bring these stories to life in unique and compelling ways that go beyond traditional media.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

Own PR across corporate and product communications, aligning media strategy and messaging with company goals, product launches, and business milestones.

Drive media engagement across business, tech, trade and broadcast.  Proactively pitch stories, build relationships with media, and secure standout coverage while finding creative, non-traditional ways to tell our story too.

Develop executive thought leadership programs: shape unique points of view, craft messaging and soundbites, grow executive presence on LinkedIn, and secure top-tier speaking and media opportunities for our C-suite - especially our Chief Product Officer but also supporting programs for our CTO, CMO and on occasion co-CEOs and CFO.

Own and evolve Klaviyo's agent story: build a distinctive point of view that sets Klaviyo’s agents apart to help position Klaviyo as a leader in the agent and AI space.

Lead data-driven narrative development: Collaborate with product, marketing, and analytics teams to surface insights from Klaviyo’s platform and turn them into compelling narratives and media angles.

Manage PR agencies: Lead our relationship with our US and European PR agencies

Support and train spokespeople: providing message development, prep, and coaching for interviews, and speaking engagements.

You'll also partner cross-functionally - especially with Product Marketing, Investor Relations, Content, Internal Comms - to identify timely, relevant stories and ensure our messaging is consistent, clear, and media-ready.

Work closely with the content team on reactive blog posts responding to industry news

Use and build AI tools to automate and speed up the team's workflows

Who You Are:

Proven ability to secure standout coverage across top-tier business, technology, trade, and broadcast outlets

Deep experience partnering directly with senior executives on media opportunities, speaking engagements, messaging, and thought leadership

Strong ability to translate complex technical products, data, and business concepts into clear, compelling, media-ready narratives

Strategic and creative thinker with exceptional writing and communication skills, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and hands-on execution

Deep understanding of how corporate and product communications intersect, with the ability to bring both together through compelling, integrated storytelling

Strong relationship builder who can effectively influence and collaborate with senior leaders, cross-functional partners, media, and external agencies

Comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in a fast-paced environment where priorities and business needs can evolve quickly

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

10+ years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or a related field, including experience in-house and/or at an agency.

Experience supporting technology, SaaS, B2B, or other high-growth companies strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience developing corporate and product communications strategies, partnering with senior executives, and leading high-impact media and thought leadership programs.
