HR Tech Team is part of the Analytics, Tech & AI department, in the People business unit of eMAG Group, and serves as a center of expertise for all companies in eMAG Group. Our selling point as a team is that you can work in a niche domain: HR Technology, using top tier technologies, like Workday. We are a bold HR technical team, where hands-on development is not out of the ordinary. Furthermore, by working in this domain, you will impact employee experience and efficiency for all companies in eMAG Group, by working closely with your colleagues in HR.

What you’ll have to do:

Configure, maintain and extend Workday HCM across multiple modules (Core HCM, Security, Business Processes, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Absence), by building end-to-end business process workflows, condition rules, validations and notifications;

Lead or participate in Workday module implementations and roll-outs — from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, go-live and post-go-live hypercare, ensuring smooth transitions for HR teams across the group;

Manage biannual Workday releases — review new features, assess impact, plan and execute regression testing, and deploy enhancements without disrupting ongoing operations;

Provide ongoing L2/L3 support for Workday — triage and resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis on configuration issues, manage user escalations and keep the system stable between releases;

Collaborate with HR teams across all eMAG Group's companies to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, well-documented HR Tech solutions;

Build, optimize and maintain Workday reports, dashboards and recurring People Analytics outputs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across modules;

Maintain and automate manual processes across HR, identifying opportunities to simplify and standardize across the group, working also with legacy technologies;

Work with senior people in our organization.

You solve problems at their core, thinking scalable, but you also can move fast and not stay in "analysis paralysis";

You worked with HR systems, are passionate about them and want to make an impact with your work, building solutions that simplify people's daily work;

You have hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes, security roles, and reporting across at least 2–3 functional modules;

You can work autonomously, can prioritize and can talk directly to the end client, being focused on building reliable HR system products, not completing the next ticket;

You are a team player.

What makes you stand out:

Workday Pro certification(s) in one or more functional areas (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Integrations);

Experience with Workday integrations — EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and third-party vendor integrations;

Clear grasp of concepts like business process framework, security model & role-based permissions, calculated fields, report writing and report security;

Experience with data integrations between Workday and BI/Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Looker);

Advanced Workday Reporting (Matrix, Trend, Composite), Excel advanced, basic SQL;

Exposure to Workday implementations or major module roll-outs in a large, multi-company group environment.
