About the Role

Hybrid in Barcelona - Global scope: Barcelona, Casablanca, London, San Francisco.

Nuitee is hiring its first dedicated IT Manager. There is currently no central IT function to inherit: ownership is split across People, Engineering, external providers, and individual teams. You will join to assess the existing environment, define what the function should look like, and build it from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role. You will set the strategy, but in the early stages you will also be the one implementing it.

What makes it interesting for you

You get to design how Nuitee runs internal IT, not maintain someone else's setup

Real scope from day one: you'll own IT across a ~350-person international company immediately

Fast, visible impact. Onboarding, tooling, security, and employee experience all need work, and improvements will show quickly

Real path to building and leading a team as the company keeps growing

We recently raised a $48M Series A led by Accel. The company was already profitable before the round, and has grown 10x since 2022. As we open and scale offices globally, internal IT needs to grow with us, and you'll be the one shaping that.

The kind of problems you'll work on

What tools are actually in use across the company, who owns them, and where are the gaps or duplication?

How do we take onboarding, offboarding, and access management from manual coordination to something scalable?

What does a sensible, unbureaucratic set of IT standards look like for a company this size?

How do we build device management and employee IT support that people actually want to use?

What does internal security readiness look like as we work with larger enterprise customers?

This role fits if you

have meaningful hands-on IT ownership at a technology company or scale-up, ideally through a period of real headcount growth

are comfortable owning identity, access, and permissions end to end, not just administering tools someone else set up

have built or professionalised employee IT support and device management

understand internal security fundamentals (MFA, SSO, access controls, device security) well enough to own them without a dedicated security team

are genuinely curious about how AI and automation can improve IT operations, not just familiar with the buzzwords

Nuitee is fast-moving, low on process, and high on ownership. This role suits someone who wants to build a function from scratch rather than run an existing one.

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you. You can apply with your LinkedIn profile or CV. Our hiring process is straightforward and usually takes 2 to 3 weeks.
