About the role:

SharkNinja is looking for a self-motivated Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join the Engineering Team.

The TPM is the ‘glue’ within the team, aligning project direction and decision points with key members from all business disciplines and will work as a partner to the design manager/engineers with joint responsibility for delivering NPD product(s) to market. We work with a hybrid model, 3 days a week in our iconic Battersea Power Station London office.

The technical project manager is responsible for the ‘WHAT’ that is being delivered, design manager/engineers are responsible for ‘HOW’ this is delivered.   Jointly they are responsible for:

Delivering 5* products to market (best in class product)

Ensure global teams are aligned on project direction (right product)

Ensure project schedules are up to date, progressing to plan and meet retailer requirements (right time)

Ensure global teams are up to date on project status and key issues/risks (stakeholders bought in)

Ensure project schedules are up to date, progressing to plan and meet retailer requirements (on time)

Ensure global teams are up to date on project status and key issues/risks (stakeholders transparency).

Drive internal team meetings and set up project plans

Track technical issues through JIRA system

Participate actively on day-to-day activities related to legacy products and produce updates for executive reviews.

The successful candidate will be able to understand complex technical challenges, and be able to rely information to non-technical cross functional teams. The candidate will be also able to support the project team on some technical activities. They will need to show good listening and influencing skills, with the confidence to achieve collaborative working relationships.

Engineering background

Experience in project management or engineering role - project management experience preferred

Hands on approach

Presentation/Communication skills

Experience of managing a project(s) through the entire lifecycle - preferably plastics or consumer products experience

Experience in regular presentations to senior stakeholders - board of directors/executive team experience desirable

Experience of working in fast paced, challenging environment.

A technical understanding of manufacturing processes and limit

Solid works or CREO experience

A hands-on work ethic

Skilled in Microsoft office user, including Excel and PowerPoint

Experience in budget management desirable but non essential
