Senior Revenue Systems Specialist
Greenhouse is looking for a Senior Revenue Systems Specialist to join our team!
Revenue Systems owns the go-to-market technology stack at Greenhouse, from first outreach through renewal. As a Senior Revenue Systems Specialist, you’ll own systems work across both pre-sale and post-sale: Salesforce, our sales system of record, and the platforms our Customer Success and Customer Marketing teams work from every day, currently Gainsight and Accord. Breadth is a key aspect of this role, and you’ll have real latitude to shape where the stack goes next.
Who will love this job
A systems generalist - you enjoy working across a stack rather than being confined to one corner of it, and you’re comfortable moving to where the work is
A solutions-oriented partner - you can hear what the business is trying to accomplish and turn it into something that works, and you stay with a problem until the desired outcome is achieved
A curious builder - you want to understand why a process exists before you automate it, and you’re comfortable saying when something doesn’t seem to make sense, including to the people asking for it
An owner - you take a project from first conversation through rollout and adoption without needing it project-managed for you
An AI-fluent operator - you already use tools like Claude, Glean, or ChatGPT in your day to day, and you’re interested in what they can do inside a revenue stack
What you’ll do
Own and build solutions in Salesforce, including data model design, declarative automation, validation, permissions, page layouts, and reporting, taking projects from scoping and intake through rollout, adoption, and documentation
Administer our post-sale platforms, including Gainsight and Accord, alongside our Customer Success Operations team, covering the rules engine, journey and email programs, surveys including NPS, and the workflows behind customer health scoring, CSM assignment, and account transfers
Own integrations between Salesforce, Gainsight, and the rest of the stack, standing up new ones independently and eliminating the recurring failures that come with the existing ones
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Marketing on their requests, working out whether the fix belongs in a system or somewhere else, and seeing it through to a working solution either way
Lead platform migration and consolidation work as our tech stack changes, from evaluation and vendor assessment through data movement, cutover, and adoption
Hold a point of view on where the stack should go, surfacing the opportunities and the risks in our implementation rather than waiting to be asked
Document what you build, and bring request volume down over time through automation and self-service
Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require
You should have
Several years in revenue operations, customer success operations, business systems, or platform administration.
B2B SaaS experience.
Deep hands-on Salesforce administration experience: data model design, declarative automation, permissions and sharing, reporting, and the judgment to know when not to build. You should be comfortable making medium to large changes to a production org and reasoning about the performance and scale implications of your configuration choices.
Hands-on ownership of Gainsight or a comparable post-sale platform (e.g., Totango, ChurnZero, Planhat), with enough depth to configure independently and to hold a credible view on whether the platform is serving the business.
Experience standing up integrations without support, and a record of eliminating recurring failures rather than only resolving them.
Experience owning a platform migration or consolidation end to end, including the data movement.
A track record of taking a problem from the first report through to a working solution.
Comfort operating as the most knowledgeable person in the room on a platform, and the instinct to bring others along rather than becoming the only one who can do the work.
Clear writing. A real part of this job is explaining to a non-technical stakeholder what you built and how to use it, or what went wrong and what you did about it.
Experience across more than one post-sale platform is a plus. So is exposure to Salesforce CPQ, enrichment tooling like Clay, or building with MCP and agentic tooling against enterprise systems.
Your own unique talents! Your background has given you a unique perspective and set of transferable skills that aren’t always in alignment with a given role, but those are qualities we value at Greenhouse.
