Why this role matters

Engine is the travel and spend management platform transforming how businesses move. We're cash flow positive, scaling rapidly, and backed by Telescope Partners, Blackstone, and Permira — and our 2027 growth targets are the most ambitious we've ever set. The success of our two newest products, Omni & OBT, will make or break that plan.

Omni is Engine's lodging infrastructure: an API and supply platform that partner platforms embed to offer Engine's inventory to their own customers. OBT is Engine's infrastructure for travel management companies (TMCs): an online booking tool that TMCs run their business on. Together, they are how Engine scales, by distributing through other platforms.

That’s where you come in. These are new products sold into complex buying committees at large enterprises that are notoriously hard to reach. As our ABM lead, you’ll build the account-based strategy that gets Omni and OBT in front of the people who can say yes.

What you'll own

End-to-end ABM campaign execution: Full ownership of ABM programs for Engine's Omni & OBT products, spanning 1:1 and 1:few plays for our biggest and most complex deals, including targeting, personalization strategy, asset creation, channel orchestration, and pipeline reporting.

Creative asset production: Custom one pagers, landing pages, infographics, and account-specific content, built by you from concept to finished deliverable. Work with partner acquisition and growth leadership to align every asset to the accounts and deals that matter.

Paid ABM campaigns: Partner with performance marketing counterparts to build and optimize paid programs that surround entire buying committees, warming, converting, and nurturing target accounts. Own audience strategy, messaging, and the feedback loop between paid performance and account engagement.

Gifting and direct mail: Build and run a repeatable, predictable gifting and direct mail engine (Sendoso sends, dimensional mail, campaign-triggered gifting) with clear playbooks for when to deploy, who qualifies, and what it returns.

Account research: Develop org charts, buying committee maps, and research briefs that partner acquisition reps actually use in live deals. Turn intent signals, tech stack data, and public information into a sharp point of view on every priority account.

Pipeline accountability: Net-new pipeline influence and opportunity acceleration on Engine's highest-value deals, sourced or influenced by your programs. Deliver clean reporting to sales, growth, and executive leadership on what's working and what isn't.

Partner acquisition partnership: Tight alignment with partner acquisition and leadership on account targeting, campaign timing, and follow-up motion. At this deal size, every play is coordinated, not sprayed.

This team operates at the intersection of speed and rigor. You'll be expected to ship fast, learn faster, and help your team build the playbooks that turn one-off wins into repeatable programs. Some of the challenges you'll inherit:

The personalization tradeoff: True 1:1 personalization doesn't scale, and scaled campaigns feel generic. You'll build the systems, templates, and AI-assisted workflows that let Engine deliver deal-specific relevance across our most valuable accounts without weeks of turnaround per account.

The buying committee problem: Strategic deals are won across many stakeholders, not one champion. You'll make sure that by the time an AE reaches out, the whole committee has already seen Engine in their feed, their inbox, and their mailbox.

The asset bottleneck: AEs working seven-figure deals need custom one pagers, landing pages, and account research faster than any centralized creative process can deliver. You'll close that gap by producing high-quality assets and building repeatable systems.

The gifting machine: Direct mail and gifting work, but today they're ad hoc and unpredictable. You'll turn them into a programmatic engine with clear triggers, playbooks, and ROI math, so we know exactly when a gift moves a deal and when it doesn't.

Sales adoption: The best account research and campaign plays are worthless if AEs don't use them. You'll build enablement and feedback loops tight enough that partner acquisition reps pull ABM into their deals instead of marketing pushing it on them.

What you’ll bring

6+  years in ABM, demand generation, or growth marketing, with at least one account-based program you owned end to end and can walk us through.

Hands-on creative production skills. You can take a one pager, landing page, or infographic from concept to finished deliverable.

Working fluency in paid ABM. Matched audiences, retargeting logic, full-funnel campaign structure on LinkedIn and adjacent channels.

Strong account research instincts. You can turn ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and public signals into org charts and account POVs that partner acquisition actually uses in live deals.

Analytical rigor. You pull and interpret your own data, tie campaign activity to opportunity creation and progression, and are comfortable killing programs that don't perform. SQL knowledge is strongly preferred.

Experience with gifting and direct mail platforms (Sendoso or similar) is a plus, but what matters more is systems thinking: you build repeatable playbooks, not one-offs.

A test-and-learn operating style. Hypothesis, experiment design, honest readout, kill-or-scale recommendation. You'd rather be wrong quickly than plausible indefinitely.

We accept applications for this role on an ongoing basis. We review applications as they are received and encourage interested candidates to apply early.
