Your opportunity

New Relic is looking for a technically fluent Senior Product Marketing Manager to own product marketing for Logs, one of the most strategic parts of our observability. In this role you will define how the market understands New Relic Logs, from positioning and messaging through launches, enablement, and competitive differentiation and you will be the person marketing, Product, and the field turn to when the conversation turns to log management, log analytics, and telemetry cost.

This is a role for a product marketer who is equally comfortable going deep with engineers on ingest pipelines, parsing rules, OpenTelemetry, and query performance as standing in front of a customer or a sales kickoff audience explaining why it matters. Logs are where observability meets cost, scale, and AI, and the buyer is increasingly forced to choose between keeping all their data and keeping their budget. If you want to own that narrative in a fast-moving category and see your messaging show up directly in pipeline and adoption, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

Responsible for Logs positioning and messaging: define and maintain the core positioning, messaging, and narrative for New Relic Logs across buyer personas and ensure it is applied consistently across web, campaigns, sales conversations, and analyst interactions.

Lead Logs launches: Own end-to-end Logs launches, including tiering, messaging, content, enablement, and launch metrics, partnering with Product Management, Demand Generation, Corporate Communications, and Enablement.

Build sales enablement that gets used: Create the pitch decks, narratives, discovery questions, objection handling, first-call decks, and talk tracks that help sellers and solution consultants run credible logs conversations, and drive adoption of that content across the field.

Help with competitive differentiation: Partner with Competitive Intelligence to develop technically accurate Logs differentiation against leading solutions and translate it into battlecards, and displacement plays.

Drive pricing, packaging, and cost narrative: Serve as the product marketing voice on Logs pricing and packaging, including data ingest and retention economics, tiering and data management strategies, and the cost-control story that is central to how logs are bought today.

Create content: produce the solution briefs, blogs, webinars, demos, customer stories, and reference architectures that make the Logs value proposition concrete and defensible, grounded in real customer outcomes and measurable results.

Know the buyer and the market: Own the voice of the customer for Logs through customer and prospect conversations, win/loss input, market research, and usage data, and feed those insights back into roadmap, messaging, and segment priorities.

Represent New Relic Logs externally and internally at customer briefings, executive and field readouts, analyst inquiries, and industry events

Define and report the metrics that show Logs product marketing is working, including pipeline contribution, attach and adoption rates, ingest growth, and enablement utilization.

This role requires

4–6 years of product marketing or closely related go-to-market experience in the observability space, with a strong preference for log management, monitoring, or AIOps

Technical foundation: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on technical experience, with sufficient depth in log analytics, retention and tiering and to engage directly with product and engineering teams.

Demonstrated ownership of product launches end-to-end, from positioning and messaging through enablement and post-launch measurement, with clear results you can speak to.

A portfolio of messaging and content you personally wrote positioning frameworks, solution briefs, pitch decks, battlecards, or technical blogs, that was adopted and used by the field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical capability into clear, compelling narratives for both practitioners and executives.

Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, Enablement, Competitive Intelligence, and Analyst Relations, and to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment.

Comfort with data: able to use product usage, pipeline, and market data to prioritize work and demonstrate impact.

Bonus points if you have

Experience using AI tools or agentic workflows to accelerate research, content production, or enablement is a plus.

Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
