Senior Product Manager
About the Role
Districts run on data. Superintendents, business administrators, and nutrition directors rely on accurate,
timely reporting to make decisions that affect budgets, staffing, and the meals students eat every day.
Reporting is where our customers feel the quality of our products most directly, and it is one of the
biggest opportunities we have to earn their trust.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own LINQ's reporting and analytics product, one of the
most visible and cross-cutting initiatives in the company. You will lead building and launching a tiered
reporting experience across all LINQ products, delivering insights to every district we serve.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Own the reporting and analytics product end-to-end including roadmap, backlog, delivery
milestones, and post-launch iteration across all LINQ product lines.
• Lead selection and implementation of a BI platform in partnership with engineering and
architecture across all product lines.
• Partner with product teams across ERP, Nutrition, Payments, and State to align on reporting
requirements, prioritize what gets built and when, and ensure the platform serves each product
line’s customers well.
• Own the customer problem definition for reporting: synthesize customer feedback, district
interviews, support trends, usage data, and internal research into a clear, prioritized picture of
what to build and in what order.
• Build and communicate business cases for significant investments, including the commercial
case for net-new revenue lines.
• Translate customer and business needs into a clear product backlog writing requirements,
defining acceptance criteria, and driving delivery with the engineering team.
• Build and communicate business cases for significant investments, including the commercial
case for net-new revenue lines.
• Own internal reporting as a parallel track, ensuring Product, Customer Success, and Operations
teams have consistent, trustworthy data to work from.• Partner with engineering leadership on the architectural and platform decisions that shape
reporting, including data infrastructure, tooling choices, and the long-term technical foundation,
so the product can scale reliably.
• Identify and surface risks early, including compliance exposure from legacy tooling, data trust
gaps that block AI adoption, and sequencing dependencies across a multi-year roadmap.
• Contribute to broader product strategy discussions, bringing data-driven perspectives on the
competitive landscape.
What We’re Looking For
• 5 or more years of product management experience on SaaS products, with at least some of
that time owning a reporting, data, or infrastructure-adjacent product area.
• Demonstrated experience owning a complex, multi-stakeholder product with real tradeoffs —
particularly one where the technical foundation and the customer-facing product have to be
built in sequence.
• Strong customer discovery skills: you know how to run district or enterprise customer
interviews, synthesize what you hear into a prioritized problem set, and resist the pull toward
confirmation bias.
• Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across multiple product teams without direct authority
— this role touches every LINQ product line and requires building trust and shared direction
across them.
• You know how to sequence, how to communicate uncertainty, and how to make the case for
investing before the payoff is immediate.
• Experience in K–12 EdTech, public sector SaaS, or compliance-heavy domains preferred.
Familiarity with federal and state reporting requirements (SRC, FERPA) is a strong plus.
• Actively uses AI tools to accelerate work including research, synthesis, writing, analysis, and
rapid prototyping, and brings curiosity about how AI can help the team validate ideas faster,
internally and with customers.
