About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Production, the Senior Producer initiates, maintains, and manages agency productions on an ongoing basis. The star performer in this role will spearhead day-to-day efforts; spanning strategy, creative development, animation, editing, and AI video assets at scale, ensuring innovative execution and sound production management. This is a client facing role.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

Lead the end-to-end production of medium-to-large AI-first video and optimization projects, from discovery and strategy through to quality assurance and successful delivery.

Oversee multi-discipline teams to ensure the overall quality of work across multiple deliverables and workstreams.

Review and evaluate all assigned projects to guarantee the production plan aligns with client objectives and marketing needs.

Manage the production of select new business materials as assigned.

Scoping & Financial Management

Drive the scoping and bidding processes, defining clear requirements, deliverables, and success metrics.

Determine project feasibility (time and budget) and provide creative solutions when parameters are tight.

Develop, manage, and monitor accurate budgets and schedules.

Proactively assess project risks, escalating issues, flagging out-of-scope requests, and initiating additional estimates when needed.

Manage and analyze the burn of an ongoing project.

Team Collaboration & Resourcing

Partner inter-departmentally to keep projects on track via clear task lists, issue tracking, and organized internal check-ins.

Develop agile resourcing plans, evaluating and recommending the best personnel for each project as needs evolve.

Anticipate team concerns and resolve them quickly to maintain an efficient workflow.

Process & Systems

Architect and implement scalable AI content systems and workflows, standardizing processes to improve efficiency and output across the agency.

Proactively identify and solve complex system challenges, continuously optimizing the production pipeline for AI-generated assets.

Build and document agency production workflows for all teams to reference.

About You

The essentials:

Minimum of 8+ years experience as a producer in a creative agency or production environment (digital, production, broadcast, post)

Strong post-production experience

Previous experience with AI video production processes

Must have extensive Creative, Integrated Marketing, and Advertising experience

Must have a strong aptitude for generating creative solutions in relation to production

Must have comfortability to interface with clients, build credibility, and manage client relationships

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills, always thinking 10 steps ahead

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be proficient in MS Office, Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Calendar)

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a digital heavy, fast-paced environment

Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills in a leading role

Critical thinker with analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture

Strong budget creation and management skills

Must have strong business ethics

This role offers location-based salary ranges. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

$110,000—$120,000 USD

Tier 2:

$100,000—$110,000 USD

Tier 3:

$90,000—$103,000 USD

Tier 4:

$75,000—$95,000 USD
