As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for;

Develop, test, and lead mechanical designs, including trade studies, concept and detailed designs, BOMs, drawings, engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and associated documentation.

Lead the Mechanical Engineering team within a project, serving as the primary resource for technical leadership, oversight, and development. Identify and recommend training or performance improvement opportunities as needed.

Ensure technical accuracy and maintain scoped product or system features.

Define work breakdown structures from initial specifications and/or derived requirements.

Track team progress and efficiency to support project schedule and budget.

Implement product designs using engineering principles and standard tools.

Utilize analysis tools to verify design concepts.

Assemble, test, and evaluate prototypes for functionality and performance.

Anticipate technical uncertainties and identify design and product risks with appropriate mitigations.

Identify scope changes and propose resolution options to project leaders.

Prepare and maintain engineering documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Complete tasks within estimated timeframes (+/- 10%) and predict potential overruns before they occur.

Ensure design quality by leading and participating in design reviews

Qualifications;

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mechanical design or related engineering roles.

A Master’s degree in an engineering field may substitute for 2 years of professional experience.

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerance analysis, and engineering calculations.

Proficiency in CAD software and standard engineering tools.

Experience with prototype assembly and testing.

Ability to anticipate and mitigate technical risks.

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation standards.

Location: Westminster, CO

Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
