Purchase Assurance Pricing Coordinator
First National Bank of America is seeking a Purchase Assurance Pricing Coordinator to join the team. This role supports accurate pricing, validation, and purchase of residential mortgage loans as part of the Secondary Marketing team. The Purchase Assurance Pricing Coordinator verifies pricing data throughout the loan sale process and ensures each transaction is executed in a timely, compliant, and accurate manner. Additionally, this role facilitates communication between our sales and Due Diligence departments, ensuring timely responses to lender inquiries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and be a valuable team player, consistently approaching interactions with external and internal customers with a proactive and helpful attitude.
Responsibilities
Validate loan pricing and eligibility as part of the loan purchase process
Review and enter purchase advice and settlement data with investors
Verify lock price, investor, and loan-level price adjustments (LLPAs) on lock requests
Apply pricing adjustments for exception and change requests in accordance with established guidelines
Update daily mortgage pricing and maintain accurate rate data within the loan origination system
Monitor pipeline dashboards to maintain service-level standards
Confirm data integrity of loans across pricing and origination systems
Coordinate with loan officers, operations staff, and investors to resolve pricing discrepancies
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting support for Secondary Marketing activities
Communicate with loan partners preparing loan documents, update status of loan files and answer questions about loan conditions
Examine loan disclosures and documentation for accuracy and completeness, work with loan origination partners and lender processing staff to secure all required documents needed to purchase the loan
Reviews and clears conditions of the loan approval
Review and evaluate information on mortgage loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness, validate findings to determine that all information matches
Meet all departmental goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time
Remain up to date and knowledgeable on all FNBA’s policies and procedures
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in loan pricing, secondary marketing, or mortgage operations
Working knowledge of pricing sheets, rate matrices, and investor guidelines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Experience with Encompass or a comparable loan origination system is a plus
