What you’ll do

We’re hiring a Mexico Country Manager. You will lead Clara’s largest commercial team, carry the number for the market, and be our most senior voice in front of customers, partners, press, and the broader business community in Mexico. You report to the CEO, and what you learn in-market shapes what the company builds.

This is not a caretaker role for a mature market. We’re still early on an ambitious roadmap, distribution is unsettled, and while relationships drive business – the way commercial teams work is also being rewritten by AI. We want someone who sees that as the reason to take the job.

What you’ll own

The number. Full accountability for Mexico’s commercial results: acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion across the funnel.

The team. Hire, lead, and develop Clara’s largest customer-facing organization: from sales through customer success. You set the operating rhythm, the bar, and the culture.

The strategy. Find the largest growth opportunities across segments, products, channels, and partnerships, and turn them into plans the team can execute. Work with the global Revenue Ops & Partnerships teams on distribution that compounds.

The market. Be Clara’s face in Mexico with CFOs, founders, partners, industry bodies, and press: building the relationships a category leader needs.

The feedback loop. Bring the Mexican market into Clara. Customer needs, competitive moves, regulatory shifts: you surface them and push for the product and priorities the market requires.

How we work

Clara runs AI-native, and that is not a slogan here. GTM means instrumented funnels and forecasts you interrogate yourself (Metabase, Databricks, Snowflake), a CRM that reflects reality (HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio), and automation built into prospecting and customer workflows (Amplemarket, ElevenLabs). Most leaders at Clara build their own tools and ship working internal apps with Claude Code, Codex and similar. You do not need to be a trained engineer. You do need to reach for these tools by instinct rather than delegate them.

What success looks like

First 90 days: you know the team, the pipeline, and the top 20 accounts personally — and you’ve created a noticeable kink in our growth curve.

First 12 months: you’re not only thinking about how to attract the remainder of our core market, you’ve already helped set the next year’s roadmap based on your market knowledge.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be competitive for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Must haves

8+ years in commercial leadership — go-to-market, Sales, Business Development, or General Management — with direct accountability for revenue targets. Financial services/fintech, payments, or high-growth B2B SaaS/AI preferred.

A track record of hiring and developing high-performing, customer-facing teams in hyper-growth. You have built a team, not only inherited one.

Deep knowledge of the Mexican B2B market: how companies buy, who decides, and how to negotiate with C-level decision-makers.

A strong network within the Mexican business, financial services, fintech, or technology ecosystem.

Analytical fluency. You pull your own funnel data and pressure-test your own forecast rather than waiting for someone else’s deck.

Hands-on use of AI tools in your own work today, with a clear point of view on where they change how commercial teams operate.

Native or fully fluent Spanish, and professional English.

Nice to haves

P&L or business-unit ownership experience.

Experience building new distribution channels or GTM motions from scratch.

SQL, Python, or shipping working applications with AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, Opencode, and similar).

Basic proficiency in Portuguese, or a strong desire to learn it and be part of a global company.
