TITLE: Performance Manager
REPORTS TO: Project Director
LOCATION: Deep East Texas Workforce Development Area
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt Employee
Career Team is looking to hire a Performance Manager who will conduct regular analyses of workforce activities, evaluate compliance with policies and procedures, implement quality improvement initiatives, and provide technical assistance for performance enhancement. The Performance Manager role is performed under the supervision of the Project Director.
Your Impact on Career Team’s Success:
Conduct analyses of workforce activities in Work In Texas to assess program performance
Use statistical sampling, auditing, and observation to evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and contract requirements
Implement continuous quality improvement through ongoing reviews and identify areas for enhancement
Review performance trends and provide technical assistance for areas of non-compliance or low performance
Assist in conducting quality reviews, prepare reports, and disseminate monitoring documents
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to the Project Director, Deputy Director, and leadership team
Review operational procedures, provide technical assistance, and make recommendations for enhancement
Update and maintain the document control system, Work In Texas, and other needed systems
Create and implement a monitoring system to ensure consistency in operational procedures
Verify performance data and generate weekly performance reports for senior management and the leadership team
Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
Other duties and projects as needed
To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Proven experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, and performance evaluation
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local workforce programs and regulations
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to achieving performance goals and driving continuous improvement

A Valid Driver's License
Additional Skills/Knowledge Career Team Would Love for This Role:
Master's or MBA degree
Knowledge of the Deep East Texas region and its employers, community organizations, and workforce partners
Bilingual or multilingual
Strong multitasking abilities and proactive approach to tasks
Experience with workforce data systems (Work In Texas) and reporting or business intelligence tools
Familiarity with TWC performance measures and monitoring standards
Salary: $52,000 - $57,000/yr
Travel: As needed
