Payroll Analyst

What you'll do at Jamf:

The Payroll Analyst supports accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery for Jamf's U.S. workforce while assisting with payroll processing for Jamf's international workforce. This role processes payroll and standard tax filings under established procedures, supports international payroll vendors on day-to-day matters, and escalates complex or novel tax and compliance issues to senior payroll staff.

What you can expect to do in this role:

Process semimonthly U.S. payroll — wages, deductions, benefits, and garnishments — across multiple states in Workday, following established payroll procedures.

Support U.S. payroll tax compliance by preparing standard federal, state, and local tax filings (Forms 941, 940, W-2, and W-3) for review, and assist with reconciling tax liabilities against the general ledger.

Research routine payroll tax notices and agency correspondence, escalating complex or novel issues to senior payroll or tax staff.

Support year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.

Support payroll processing for Jamf employees outside the U.S. by coordinating with in-country payroll providers on day-to-day pay accuracy and timeliness.

Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned international payroll vendors, flagging discrepancies for review before disbursement.

Process and audit garnishments, levies, and voluntary deductions in compliance with applicable law.

Coordinate with HR, Legal, and Finance on standard multi-state and multi-country payroll matters, escalating complex tax or compliance questions as needed.

Use AI-powered tools alongside other payroll technologies to support validation and reconciliation tasks, flagging anomalies for review.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

What we are looking for:

2+ years of U.S. payroll processing experience (required)

Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax rules — FICA, FUTA, SUTA, and withholding (required)

Experience with a major payroll platform, such as Workday, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Streamline/Celergo, or UKG (required)

Exposure to international payroll processes, ideally partnering with in-country payroll providers or Employers of Record (EORs) (preferred)

Experience partnering with One Source Virtual (OSV) or similar payroll service providers to support U.S. payroll processing (preferred)

Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for reconciliations and reporting (required)

Comfort using AI-powered tools to support payroll validation and reconciliation tasks (preferred)

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (preferred)

A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered (required)

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, or an international payroll equivalent (preferred)

Participation in ongoing security training is mandatory.
