IT Office Support Specialist
This role will require working at our office (3 Dovercourt Rd, Toronto, ON M6J 1H4) five days a week.
As a Monks IT Office Support Specialist, you are a vital key in helping our fellow Monks stay up & running with their technology, as well as keeping our Toronto office running in tip-top shape! You would be working on a Global IT team focusing on in-office support, asset management, and delivering world-class customer support face-to-face.
In this role, you would be responsible for the following:
Being the in-office point of contact for technical problems & troubleshooting that staff may have with computer hardware and/or software
Installing, supporting, and providing routine maintenance to all in-office hardware and software, such as Mac/Windows and AV Equipment
Troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing IT equipment. (As necessary)
Maintaining IT policies & documentation that provide technical support to the entire organization.
Maintaining in-office Meeting Room equipment & technology.
Cable Management & general tidiness of IT office equipment.
Supporting onboarding and offboarding operations
Supporting the implementation of new solutions or apps in our environment.
Creating and maintaining employee accounts and passwords.
Even though your main focus is our Toronto Office, you will be asked to assist fellow IT support team members across the Global organization by answering general questions in our ticket system, FreshService.
Technical experience needed for this role:
1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
Certifications are preferred (but not required)
Extensive Mac and macOS knowledge
Windows knowledge is a plus!
Working with Google Workspace, OneLogin, Office365, Slack, and Freshservice.
Printer Troubleshooting and Maintenance.
Setting up & maintaining meeting room hardware & software.
Troubleshooting & responding to WiFi or other simple networking questions
Maintaining ISO docs (inventory and asset tracking)
Processing & receiving broken hardware and repairs
Equipment lifecycle processing or recycling
Shipping & receiving new hire equipment (not technical, but must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. to accomplish this task).

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.
Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range
$55,000—$60,000 CAD
