As a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting our commitment to a proactive Safety, Sustainability, and Quality culture. You will collaborate closely with site leadership and employees to strengthen safety performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a workplace where safety is always the priority.
You will be committed to building a safer and healthier workplace by identifying hazards, assessing risks, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your proactive approach, strong communication skills, and ability to foster positive safety behaviours will help create a culture in which everyone takes ownership of safety.
You will work closely with operational teams to implement Bradken's Safety Strategic Plan, investigate incidents, monitor HSE performance, and ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, statutory requirements, and Bradken standards. Through collaboration and engagement, you will help drive sustainable improvements across our manufacturing operations.
Key Technical Criteria
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
Safety qualification recognised under Tamil Nadu Safety Officer requirements and/or NEBOSH IGC certification.
2-4 years' experience in manufacturing, industrial, or greenfield project environments.
Experience in safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and improvement initiatives
Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of control measures.
Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.
Exposure to construction projects and machine erection activities will be highly regarded.
This role will be based at our Coimbatore Manufacturing Facility and will support site-wide Health, Safety & Environment initiatives across operations.
