GTM Engineer III (Professional Services)

As a GTM Engineer III within the Professional Services arm of ZoomInfo, you will independently own technical solution design and hands-on build work for defined workstreams within enterprise customer engagements. You will translate go-to-market objectives into scalable, operational solutions, working at the intersection of GTM strategy, solution architecture, product expertise, data, and automation.

ZI Professional Services partners with ZoomInfo's most strategic enterprise customers to modernize their GTM motions through comprehensive advisory and execution services spanning enterprise GTM strategy, advanced data architecture, account intelligence, demand generation, and operational enablement. As a GTM Engineer III, you will independently lead discovery, configuration, build, and validation activities for assigned workstreams while building toward full engagement ownership.

We are looking for a solutions-minded technical consultant with solid product and data fluency who is ready to own defined pieces of customer engagements with greater independence. As a GTM Engineer III you will conduct discovery, design and build solutions, validate results, mentor newer team members, and begin contributing to pre-sales scoping and proposal development.

What You'll Do:

Independently conduct business and technical discovery with customer stakeholders to identify requirements, dependencies, data considerations, and opportunities for automation.

Translate customer requirements into solution designs, configuration plans, and implementation approaches for assigned workstreams.

Design and build workflows, automations, audiences, data flows, and other technical components within the product ecosystem with moderate oversight.

Configure and implement solutions across relevant product capabilities, coordinating with Product Experts or Engineering when deeper expertise is required.

Test, validate, troubleshoot, and refine solutions prior to launch, applying structured quality checks.

Develop solution documentation, architecture diagrams, process flows, and implementation plans for assigned scope.

Facilitate working sessions with business and technical stakeholders on assigned workstreams, building alignment around recommended solutions.

Support pre-sales discovery, scoping conversations, hour estimation, and proposal development alongside senior team members and account teams.

Establish success criteria and validation approaches for assigned deliverables in partnership with the engagement lead.

Support customer launch, enablement, and transition activities for completed workstreams.

Identify optimization opportunities within assigned scope and escalate broader recommendations to the engagement lead.

Contribute repeatable components, templates, and solution patterns to shared team playbooks.

Mentor GTM Engineer II team members on technical execution and platform fluency.

Maintain accurate project plans, weekly status updates, and time tracking for assigned engagements.

Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to engagement leads, account teams, and customer stakeholders.

What You Bring:

2-4 years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation, technical consulting, data analytics, or a related technical delivery role, ideally within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environments.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.

Solid understanding of B2B go-to-market motions across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.

Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical or workflow-based solutions.

Working knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, or data enrichment technologies.

Experience configuring or implementing Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or marketing automation platforms.

Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality assessment.

Foundational understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and automation concepts, including exposure to MCP, CLI tools, or webhooks.

Ability to conduct effective discovery independently and document findings clearly.

Strong problem-solving skills with growing comfort operating in ambiguous customer environments.

Ability to manage a defined workstream with minimal oversight while escalating appropriately.

Clear communication, presentation, and documentation skills across technical and business audiences.

Growing command of emerging GTM technologies, including generative AI applications, automation, and agentic workflows.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.

Experience supporting pre-sales discovery, scoping, or proposal development.

Experience testing and troubleshooting customer-facing technical solutions.

Experience managing project plans in tools such as Asana.
