Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a Functional Area Analyst – Pharmacy to enhance administrative and operational support services for our federal customer at the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, Virginia.

This position will join a team of administrative professionals supporting healthcare operations, program management, analysis, research, education programs, correspondence/task management, and military healthcare related policies and programs.

The successful candidate will support BUMED Clinical Operations, Policy and Standards and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), which are charged by the Navy Surgeon General to promote safe, quality healthcare, operational readiness, force development, Sailor and Marine deployability, and delivery of the future Naval Medical Force. Supported programs include OCMO; Quality, Safety, and Leadership Academy (QSLA); Women's Health; Trauma Strategy; Emergency Medical Services; Dental Services; Pharmacy Services; Navy Medicine Operational Clinical Communities; and Medical Research and Development.

Hybrid position: approximately 10% on-site / 90% remote, with on-site support at BUMED, Falls Church, VA.

Work hours may require flexibility to support Navy Medicine stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Travel: 25% or less; some positions may require CONUS or OCONUS travel.

Secret clearance requirements apply in accordance with the contract.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Provide functional analysis and high-level subject-matter expertise in pharmacy supply-chain and inventory-management best practices.

Support enterprise deployment, implementation, and sustainment of technical tools used for pharmacy inventory optimization.

Coordinate MTF site visits and technical implementation activities, including command in-briefs/out-briefs, tool installation, user training, and sustainment.

Analyze pharmacy inventory data and provide retrospective and predictive analysis to Navy Medicine leadership.

Coordinate stakeholders from BUMED headquarters through individual MTFs.

Support Pharmacy Services Office readiness initiatives, operational analysis, dashboarding, policy/program support, and Pharmacy Operational Support Tracker analysis.

Apply patient-experience and human-centered design methods to assess and improve pharmacy and clinical workflows.

Support process evaluation, requirements identification, performance monitoring, and enterprise standardization.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated pharmacy supply-chain, inventory-management, or healthcare logistics analysis experience.

Prior Navy Medicine experience.

Experience with Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS).

Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and SQL.

Experience coordinating technical deployments, installations, or implementations at healthcare facilities.

Experience conducting retrospective and predictive inventory analysis.

Experience with patient-experience initiatives and/or improvement of clinical operations in a large healthcare setting.

Experience applying ethnographic research or human-centered design methodologies.

Requirements:

Secret Clearance.

Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, healthcare administration, logistics, supply chain, information systems, or related area.

Target 5+ years of directly relevant experience.

Preferred experience and background:

Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP); Navy Medicine pharmacy operations; MTF deployments; pharmacy informatics; dashboarding; predictive analytics; Power BI/Tableau; CONUS/OCONUS site support.

Military health environment, an understanding of the military organization, understanding of military health data.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Excellent skills in multitasking, prioritization and planning, schedule management, and the coordination of complex executive functions.

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Possess strong editorial and writing skills and a keen understanding of different audiences.

Excellent verbal and communication skills.
