Forward Deployed Recruiter

About the Role:

Glean is seeking a Forward Deployed Recruiter to build the teams that bring Glean’s Work AI platform to customers. You will partner with hiring leaders across Forward Deployed and adjacent technical GTM teams to define talent strategies and deliver thoughtful, high-quality hiring experiences.

You will:

Lead full-cycle recruiting for Forward Deployed and adjacent technical GTM roles, from intake and sourcing through offer, while delivering a thoughtful candidate experience.

Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, interview plans, and hiring priorities; share clear, evidence-based guidance throughout the process.

Build targeted sourcing strategies to engage exceptional technical and customer-facing talent, including passive candidates and candidates with nontraditional backgrounds.

Use market insights, pipeline analytics, and funnel data to surface hiring risks, refine search strategies, and keep hiring partners aligned on progress.

Coordinate interview teams and candidate closing, champion consistent and inclusive hiring practices, and improve recruiting workflows with AI-enabled tools and feedback.

About you:

Experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition; we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience and will calibrate level based on skills and scope.

Ability to partner with hiring managers, translate business needs into clear candidate profiles, and provide thoughtful, evidence-based guidance.

Experience recruiting technical, product, engineering, or customer-facing talent; familiarity with Forward Deployed, enterprise SaaS, or startup environments is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the empathy and judgment to build trust with candidates and cross-functional partners.

Highly organized, data-informed, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment, with curiosity about using AI and recruiting technology to improve hiring workflows.

Location:

This role is hybrid (3–4 days a week in our Mountain View or San Francisco office)

Compensation & Benefits:

The standard base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $185,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
