About the Role

This role sits within People Operations and will own a broad range of recurring HR coordination and administrative responsibilities throughout the employee lifecycle—from pre-employment and onboarding through employee changes, compliance tracking, engagement initiatives, and offboarding. The role will also take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Chicago office, ensuring it is organized, welcoming, well-equipped, and ready to support our team.

The ideal candidate is someone who loves keeping things organized, follows through on details, builds efficient processes, and is comfortable being the person others rely on to get things done. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Chicago office.

Maintain People Operations resources: Keep org charts, job descriptions, onboarding materials, employee resources, and other HR documentation current.

Improve processes: Identify opportunities to make People Operations processes more organized, efficient, and consistent.

Chicago Office Operations

Own day-to-day office operations: Ensure the Chicago office is organized, stocked, clean, and professional, and serve as the welcoming face of the office for employees, vendors, and visitors.

Manage office logistics and budget: Coordinate supplies, mail, deliveries, conference rooms, building access, visitors, catering, vendors, and other office needs.

Maintain office processes and resources: Create and maintain an office playbook and ensure employees have clear information about office procedures and logistics.

Support office culture and events: Coordinate team lunches, happy hours, and other in-person employee experiences.

Partner across teams: Work closely with People Operations, Finance, IT, and other teams to support employee and office needs.
