Contracts Manager
About the Role:
Planet is looking for a Contracts Manager who wants to join our dedicated in-house legal team in Slovenia.
This is a great opportunity to work in a global setting in the space sector and make a difference with your skills in a dynamic environment. Planet has its global headquarters in San Francisco and European headquarters in Berlin. This role reports directly to the Head of Legal, EMEA, and will be part of the EMEA Legal team that is based in Germany and Slovenia.
This is a full-time, hybrid position which requires you to work from our Ljubljana office 3 days per week.
Impact You’ll Own:
Review, negotiate and process vendor and supplier agreements using established company playbooks, templates and approval guidelines.
Draft non-standard agreements with customers according to negotiation guidelines, and under the direction of legal counsel.
Identify and communicate negotiation matters that need to be escalated to legal counsel.
Conduct legal research and draft memos on discrete projects from time to time.
Support the maintenance and improvement of our legal processes, forms, systems and operations, including our contract management systems.
Support the EMEA Legal and Proposal Team with administrative matters.
Administrate matters in Planet’s contract management systems.
Provide support for the proposals team, including documentation management.
Manage communications with various stakeholders globally.
What You Bring:
4+ years of relevant experience (paralegal, contracts manager, or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience working internationally.
Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company.
Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suites.
High level of reliability and solid organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver timely, high-quality results.
Ability to balance attention to detail with pragmatic problem solving.
Ability to learn and follow standardized processes and procedures.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization.
Flexibility to engage with stakeholders in different time zones.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor communication to the target audience.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Proficiency in contract management software and legal operations.
Experience working at a publicly listed company, with government customers or in the space or defense sector.
Professional working proficiency in German or other languages.

The expected starting gross salary range for this role is listed below. Individual placement within this range is determined objectively based on gender-neutral criteria such as your skills, qualifications, and professional experience. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or equity.
