Content Creator
Role: Social Content Creator
Location: New York, USA
About the role:
As Social Content Creator, you'll be a primary maker of social content across a brand portfolio. Working with social strategists and creative leads, you'll turn Creative Direction into content that performs. Each brand has its own identity, audience and tone, and you'll adapt your approach to suit.
You'll run your own production workflow from brief to delivery and work independently across several projects at once. Ideas are part of the job, and execution is its core. You'll take feedback well, work closely with brand partners and use performance data to improve each piece.
What you will be doing:
Shoot, edit and produce social-first content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms, including creator-style formats, product storytelling, lifestyle content and polished brand executions
Turn Creative Direction into content that performs, interpreting briefs accurately and adding your own creative ideas
Develop content ideas for different audiences, adapting to each brand's identity, cultural context and platform behavior
Create strong visual hooks that capture attention in the first seconds and hold it to the end
Spot cultural moments, trends and new platform formats early, and adapt them into brand-appropriate content
Manage the full production workflow: concepting, shooting, staging, lighting, editing, captioning and final delivery
Keep an organized library of raw footage, photography and edited files
Collaborate with social strategists, creative leads and brand partners so content is on-brief, on-brand and built to perform
Present your work to brand partners, respond constructively to feedback and flag scope or timeline changes early
Use platform analytics and engagement data to refine creative decisions
Appear on camera or direct on-camera talent where a project needs it (optional, and agreed in advance)
What you need to be great in this role:
Craft and production
Skilled shooting on iPhone and DSLR or mirrorless cameras, with strong lighting in studio and real-world settings
Advanced editing in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva or Edits
Experience across short-form vertical video, product-led content, lifestyle and creator-style formats
A strong eye for composition, styling and staging
Copywriting instincts for captions, hooks and on-screen text
Ability to take a brief from concept to delivery without constant guidance
Social and cultural fluency
Deep understanding of how each platform works and what makes content perform on it
Experience spotting trends early and adapting them for brands
Experience creating content for varied audiences across more than one brand identity
Ways of working
Comfortable receiving Creative Direction and delivering independently
Reliable at managing several projects at once, with attention to quality and deadlines
Organized approach to asset management and post-production
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in food and beverage, ice cream, FMCG or consumer lifestyle
Cross-cultural or multi-brand content experience
Experience directing influencers or on-camera talent
GEN AI & AGENTIC THINKING
Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to content creation, such as ideation, scripting, image generation and research
Experience building personal AI workflows to improve efficiency and quality
Agentic approach to briefs: breaking them down, finding the most efficient route and delivering with minimal guidance
Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply human creative judgement
