Tria Federal is seeking a Communications Analyst II to support the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) N10D Force Medical Readiness Directorate in Falls Church, Virginia.

This position will support a multidisciplinary team providing medical readiness policy, analytics, process improvement, training, stakeholder coordination, and operational support. The Communications Analyst will help translate complex readiness policies and program activities into clear, actionable communications for Navy Medicine leadership, Medical Treatment Facilities, commands, and other stakeholders.

Hybrid position: approximately 10% on-site / 90% remote

On-site support at BUMED, Falls Church, VA

Core Government performance hours generally 0800–1630, with flexibility as mission needs require

Travel may be required in accordance with the contract

Active Secret Clearance required

Job Description/Responsibilities

Manage internal and stakeholder communications supporting N10D programs.

Develop communication strategies for policy implementation, readiness initiatives, and organizational change.

Draft executive messages, briefings, announcements, correspondence, frequently asked questions, and stakeholder-facing products.

Support communications for Limited Duty, Disability Evaluation System, Individual Medical Readiness, accessions/retention, suitability screening, and Educational and Developmental Intervention Services.

Coordinate communications among N10D leadership, Medical Treatment Facilities, operational commands, and external stakeholders.

Support conferences, working groups, executive meetings, and recurring collaboration activities.

Assist with training and policy rollout communications.

Track actions, decisions, risks, and stakeholder responses.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

5–12 years of relevant experience.

Experience developing executive, organizational, or stakeholder communications.

Strong technical writing, editing, and briefing-development skills.

Experience coordinating communications across multiple organizations and senior stakeholders.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and collaboration tools.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance required.

U.S. citizenship.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and required Government system access.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Experience and Background

Navy Medicine, Military Health System, Department of Defense, or Federal healthcare experience.

Experience communicating policy, readiness, healthcare, or operational information.

Familiarity with BUMED organizational processes and Enterprise Task Management System 2.
