Role Description:
ShipBob is hiring a Campaign Manager (ABM) to drive pipeline creation through AI-powered, account-based marketing targeting Enterprise and Tier 1 prospect accounts. You'll execute account-based strategies powered by intelligent account data - a living dossier that consolidates company strategy, buying committee dynamics, competitive pressures, and engagement patterns. This is a hands-on role where you'll translate account intelligence into 1:1 and 1:few ABM plays that move deals forward.
As the Campaign Manager (ABM), you're responsible for designing and executing coordinated activations spanning email, digital, events, gifting, and content. You'll leverage AI-powered account intelligence to inform play timing, personalization, and buying committee engagement. You'll brief cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Content, Paid, Events, Marketing Automation, Partnerships, Sales), drive execution, measure pipeline impact, and iterate based on data and field feedback.
You'll work closely with Sales teams and AE + BDR pods to understand account priorities, map buying committee dynamics, establish feedback loops, and scale successful plays. You'll also own a disciplined testing roadmap to validate new audiences, messaging, and tactics - measuring what drives engagement, attributed pipeline, and causal impact. This role reports to the Director, Digital Marketing.
What you’ll do:
Leverage and build AI - powered account intelligence
Maintain a living, AI-powered dossier for each Enterprise and Tier 1 prospect account, consolidating company intelligence (strategy, priorities, competitive landscape), engagement data (first-party, third-party intent signals, CRM history), and buying committee mapping (decision-makers, influencers, blockers).
Map and continuously track buying committee evolution for each account. Identify key decision-makers, influencers, and potential blockers; document their priorities, concerns, and influence on deal velocity.
Use AI to generate account briefs and play scenarios that accelerate strategy development. Prompt-engineer for insights on optimal timing, messaging angles, and high-impact engagement moments.
Surface intelligence gaps and flag them for RevOps or the intelligence team. Identify where first-party data, intent signals, or account research needs updating.
Design and execute 1:1 and 1:few ABM strategies
Drive coordinated delivery of ABM plays by establishing clear briefs, ownership, timelines, and dependencies. Align Product Marketing, Content, Paid Acquisition, Events, Marketing Automation, Partnerships, and Sales through launch.
Orchestrate integrated engagement across channels: direct outreach and gifting, email and marketing automation sequences, paid digital media, events and executive engagement, and industry - specific content.
Own programs from strategy through execution, managing budgets, timelines, and delivery quality. Ensure alignment on dependencies and keep cross-functional teams coordinated.
Identify and pursue opportunities where partnerships can strengthen account relationships and accelerate strategic deals.
Own a test roadmap and drive continuous optimization
Build and manage a disciplined testing roadmap for new audiences, demand sources, messages, offers, and experiences. Set a clear hypothesis and success measure for each test.
Use engagement data, behavioral signals, and attributed pipeline to validate assumptions and measure impact. Distinguish between engagement, attributed pipeline, and causal impact.
Turn successful tests into repeatable, scalable ABM plays. Document playbooks and share learnings across the team.
Analyze campaign performance to identify bottlenecks, routing improvements, and opportunities to optimize conversion rates and pipeline sourced/influenced results.
Establish ABM reporting frameworks and dashboards. Own success metrics, reporting cadence, and accountability for pipeline sourced/influenced, engagement, and test outcomes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
8 years of professional experience in demand generation and account - based marketing: including ideal customer profile definition, account tiering, buying - group mapping, and 1:few/1:1 program design.
Demonstrated track record executing demand gen campaigns that drive pipeline: with hands - on experience managing campaign funnel, understanding sales process mechanics, and optimizing for pipeline sourced/influenced results.
AI/LLM fluency and prompt engineering skills: ability to design prompts that extract actionable insights from account data, build account intelligence artifacts, and evaluate where AI genuinely accelerates strategy versus adding noise.
Sound analytical and experimentation discipline: including hypothesis development, test design, success metrics, and understanding the distinction between engagement, attributed pipeline, and causal impact.
ABM platform expertise: with 6sense, Demandbase, or similar - audience configuration, account - level segmentation, and activation.
Marketing automation and CRM fluency: particularly HubSpot and Salesforce - campaign objects, audience models, and reporting.
Cross - functional collaboration skills: with the ability to turn strategy into priorities, briefs, ownership, and timelines while influencing teams without direct authority. Excellent written and verbal communication.
Working knowledge of Sales operations: including account qualification, lead - to - account matching, source and stage definitions, contextual BDR handoffs, and closed - loop reporting.
Demandbase or similar ABM platform certification is a plus. Industry - specific (vertical) ABM experience is a plus. A "learn faster through feedback" mentality and passion for testing and iteration are essential.
