Backend Engineer (Typescript and go), Contract to hire.

Overview of Role

We are seeking a versatile Backend Engineer to drive the modernization of our client backend microservices architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this client-facing consulting role,you will play a key part in transforming core services using Node.js/TypeScript and Go.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices on GCP.

Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate

technical strategies, and deliver high-impact solutions.

Revamp existing backend systems to improve performance, reliability, and

maintainability.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate modern middleware and cloud

services.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering using TypeScript and Node.js (Primary Skill).

2+ years of production experience working with Go (Secondary Skill).

Experience building and deploying backend microservices on Google Cloud Platform

(GCP) is nice to have.

Full availability to work within Mountain Time (MT) business hours.
