Google Site Community Manager
Overview of Role
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Google Site Community Manager /Internal Communications Manager to join our team in Bengaluru (with flexibility for distributed/remote work). In this role, you will play a key part in driving company-wide employee engagement, managing our internal intranet portal, and executing clear, impactful communications across the organization. Working closely at the intersection of HR and Marketing, you will own the end-to-end administration of our Google Site platform, translate complex business and HR updates into engaging content, and help cultivate an informed and connected culture at 66degrees.
Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and publish clear, compelling internal communications, announcements, newsletters, and campaign materials tailored for a technology-driven workforce.
Oversee the day-to-day administration, regular content updates, layout structure, and maintenance of the internal Google Site (intranet)
Partner cross-functionally with HR and Marketing teams to support employee engagement initiatives, policy rollouts, town halls, and employer branding events.
Utilize basic design tools to produce visually appealing graphic banners, digital flyers, and multimedia assets for internal campaigns.
Translate complex HR, compliance, and corporate information into simple, digestible formats while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Monitor internal feedback channels, keep communication hubs active, and propose continuous improvements to enhance employee experience and site navigation.
Qualifications:
3–4 years of experience in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, Content Management, or Marketing within the IT/B2B technology sector.
Hands-on experience building, managing, and updating Google Sites or similar content management systems (CMS) and intranet portals.
Strong copywriting, proofreading, and story-building skills with a knack for translating complex topics into engaging content.
Basic design proficiency (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or Google Slides) to create clean, branded internal communication graphics.
Proven ability to interface effectively between HR, Operations, and Marketing teams with discretion and content sensitivity.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
