Essential Job Duties

As an Amendment Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our payroll tax records. Your attention to detail, organizational prowess, and commitment to timely processing will play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

You will:

Monitor Salesforce queues for incoming amendment requests and research

Review correction project to evaluate amendments needed

Process amendment through MasterTax

Manage the collection/refund of any tax liabilities resulting from the amendment processing

Manually process any amended tax returns not supported by MasterTax

Research agency amendment requirements and file compliantly

Assist with customer tax notices requiring amendments to resolve

Provide support for clients and internal teams

What You Need to Get the Job Done

Strong payroll tax knowledge

Knowledge of payroll tax return filing requirements

Familiar with Third Party Access rules

In current role for at least 9+ months

Exceeding expectations in current role

Attention to detail

Ability to prioritize duties

Ability to multitask and stay organized
