Accounting Manager
Driven to Deliver (What You'll Do)
Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements; including reviewing junior accountants work
Maintain the fixed asset subledger and coordinate with corporate IT on additions and disposals
Analyze internal and external labor for software capitalization, and maintain software amortization schedule
Perform balance sheet and income statement flux analyses
Oversee the accounts payable process ensuring the accuracy of vendor invoices, G/L coding, and investigation of any discrepancies
Facilitate weekly wire and ACH vendor payments while adhering to corporate payment guidelines
Managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including federal, state income tax, VAT, GST and other local taxes
Review bank account reconciliations and assist in preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Analyze general ledger for accruals and maintain accrual schedule
Maintain and analyze rent and insurance schedules
Gather information and prepare schedules and documentation to support the audit and tax return preparation
Assist in special projects which may involve assisting with interdepartmental initiatives and ad hoc reports
Prepare sales tax calculations and return filings
Keep abreast of and apply GAAP, accounting guidance, and relative company policies, practices, and procedures
Equipped to Excel (Qualifications)
On-site working at the ML physical office, 5-days per week is required through the end of probation (6 months), transitioning to 2-day WFH post-probation
Ability to work US Hours
B.S. degree in Accounting
5+ years of related work experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications with a focus on Excel

Knowledge of India Payroll/calculations an advantage
