Vice President, Solutions Consulting
About the Role:
As the VP of Solutions Consulting, you will have a unique opportunity to build our market leadership position while driving substantial revenue growth for the company. You will be a senior member of the sales leadership team, developing and executing on the product strategy, business model, and product roadmap. You will coordinate and partner with leaders in Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop and optimize, go-to-market model. This role is responsible for managing and oversight of the Solutions Consulting team. This oversight includes resource management, budgeting, and strategic vision for the team in order to meet the corporate objectives, while preserving and building on a high-performing team culture.
What You'll Do:
Lead and develop a diverse team of Solution Consulting leaders, building trust and consistency.
Define and manage team metrics.
Partner with leadership to support the resource planning and budgeting process.
Maintain up-to-date market and payments expertise, and continuously evolve competitive positioning.
Serve as primary liaison between the Sales organization, Product management and Marketing to prioritize and communicate new feature requests and product roadmap vision to best drive company growth and customer success.
Manage day-to-day activities such as resource scheduling conflicts, expense review and approval, activity reporting etc.
Develop and deploy team training curriculum to meet the changing demands of the sales organization.
Evaluate team members regularly through analysis of direct observation, peer feedback and sales feedback.
Ensure proper alignment of resources and effective utilization of skill sets within the assigned region.
Develop team members according to the demands of the business and according to their individual professional goals.
Develop and maintain a recruiting pipeline of potential SC candidates to meet future business demands.
Work with regional sales directors to prioritize regional Solution Consulting efforts.
Assign resources to sales opportunities, and consistently evaluate progress against goals.
What You'll Bring:
10–14 years of professional experience, including 5+ years managing leaders within a pre-sales or solutions consulting organization.
Office of the CFO domain experience required; direct experience in Accounts Receivable or Payments strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build, scale, or restructure a solution consulting organization, including reporting, systems, process, and enablement.
Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects to completion.
Ability to communicate and demonstrate the value of complex Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based solutions.
Ability to utilize deep technical knowledge of the invoice-to-cash process to build credibility and showcase product strengths.
Proven ability to use advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and align solutions to business problems.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills including technical and business concepts.
Mastery of the Sales process and trusted advisor for account representative.
Executive presence and influencing skills.
The expected base salary range for this position is $202,000 - $268,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for additional incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
