Vice President, Information Technology
About the Role:
Dragos is rapidly scaling, and IT must match that scale. We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented VP of IT to serve as a member of the executive leadership team and lead the next stage of enterprise growth. Reporting to the CFO, the VP of IT will define and execute the enterprise technology strategy, scale business platforms and operations globally, accelerate responsible AI adoption, and ensure Dragos has the digital capabilities required to support a rapidly growing, global organization.
Responsibilities:
Own enterprise IT strategy, architecture, and the technology roadmap, integrated with Dragos's growth plan
Design and stand up an IT operating model and organizational structure that scales to 2,000+ employees, including a business platforms capability covering ERP, CRM, HR, legal, and collaboration systems
Own Dragos's approach to AI adoption across the business — identifying where AI and agentic automation create real value in internal workflows and business platforms, driving adoption, and operating within the security and governance standards
Own corporate infrastructure, AI, cloud, network connectivity and the digital workplace
Build global IT support and service management to a consistent standard across the US, UK, UAE, and APAC, including coverage model, escalation, and service levels
Own IT service management maturity — incident, request, change, asset, and configuration management
Build a reusable M&A IT integration playbook covering identity, endpoint, network, business systems, and infrastructure ownership
Own the enterprise data and analytics platform, including governance participation and enablement of self-service reporting
Serve on the executive leadership team as a business partner to CxO peers, not solely as a technology voice; act as trusted advisor on technology-enabled business decisions
Own the IT operating and capital budget, and IT vendor/SaaS lifecycle management in partnership with Procurement
Build, lead, and develop the IT leadership team, including succession planning
Partner with the CISO as a peer: deliver within security standards set by the CISO, provide telemetry and platform access, and escalate rather than route around disagreements
Qualifications:
15+ years in IT or business technology, including 5–7+ years in senior IT leadership
Demonstrated experience building or scaling an IT function through significant headcount growth — built for the size the company was becoming, not the size it was
M&A IT integration experience as an owner, ideally across multiple transactions; serial-acquirer experience strongly preferred
Business platform ownership: ERP, CRM, and the architecture connecting them
Experience building global support and service delivery across multiple regions and time zones
Budget ownership with demonstrated cost discipline
Experience operating alongside an independent security function, with a track record of partnering with a CISO
Comfortable operating as a business leader as much as a technology leader — active in strategy, not just delivery
Software, SaaS, or technology-vendor environment preferred; cybersecurity industry experience valued but not required
Experience in a company subject to ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar compliance regimes preferred
Compensation:
Salary: $285,000.00
Competitive Equity Package
Comprehensive Benefits Plan
