Senior Procurement Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Procurement Operations to manage vendor onboarding and improve the systems and workflows that support the purchasing lifecycle.
You will guide vendors and internal stakeholders through onboarding requirements, coordinate reviews and approvals, maintain accurate data, and resolve issues that delay requests. You will also help improve Zip and related systems by identifying process gaps, documenting requirements, testing changes, and supporting automation and reporting.
This role is ideal for someone with strong operational judgment, a systems mindset, and the ability to manage a high volume of requests in an evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
Manage vendor onboarding requests from submission through completion.
Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation.
Coordinate reviews, approvals, and follow-ups with Privacy, GRC, IT, Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, and other teams.
Help vendors and employees understand requirements, complete outstanding tasks, and resolve system issues.
Maintain accurate vendor records, approvals, contracts, documents, and audit trails across Zip and connected systems.
Monitor request volumes, aging, and cycle times, prioritizing urgent requests and escalating blockers.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Zip and related procurement systems.
Translate policies and business needs into clear requirements for workflows, routing, approvals, notifications, reporting, and exceptions.
Test system changes, document results, report defects, and support releases through training and communications.
Identify opportunities to improve P2P processes through data, AI, and automation.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of experience in procure-to-pay, vendor management, finance, or purchasing operations.
Experience managing vendor onboarding or vendor lifecycle processes.
Hands-on experience with platforms such as Zip, Coupa, Oracle, NetSuite, DocuSign, Brex, Ramp, or similar tools.
Understanding of how vendor data, purchasing requests, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, approvals, and payments connect.
Experience maintaining accurate system data and resolving incomplete, inconsistent, or duplicate records.
Ability to document business requirements, test system changes, and work with technical teams to resolve issues.
Sound judgment when applying policies, managing exceptions, and escalating risks.
An analytical mindset and interest in using data, AI, and automation to improve processes.
Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
