Senior People Partner

Role Summary

Our mission at HubSpot is to help millions of organizations grow better. HubSpot’s People team prides itself on our innovative and flexible approach to HR, and we are looking for an experienced Senior People Partner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking People team.

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders across multiple functions, advising on a variety of People-related matters, including performance management, talent readiness, engagement surveys, organizational health, workforce metrics, and more.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, managers, Directors, and Senior Directors within assigned functions or regions.

Provide business partnership and coaching to people leaders to positively impact the motivation, development, and retention of talent.

Partner with people leaders throughout the talent lifecycle, including performance reviews, performance management, talent calibrations, promotion processes, compensation reviews, and succession planning, ensuring a standardized approach.

Provide Employee Relations support, offering thought partnership and guidance to leaders throughout the performance management process.

Support the talent and leadership development strategy to ensure effective delivery of enablement resources.

Work with People Business Partners on the planning and execution of organizational design and change management.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies through the creation, operationalization, or standardization of processes and policies.

Translate outputs from the People strategy into scalable operational actions and act as the voice of the business and employees by creating a feedback loop for People initiatives, programs, and COEs.

Collaborate across peer groups, specifically Employment Legal, People Operations, the broader People team, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and Finance, to optimize processes. Foster strong working relationships with our Employment Legal team to balance risk and calibrate recommendations for decision-making.

Build relationships with and provide sound, expert advice and guidance to business leaders in line with local employment practices and employment law. Leverage data and trends in performance and Employee Relations to help influence strategy around manager training and underperformance processes, delivering training where needed.

Manage or participate in special projects, programs, and continuous improvement initiatives requiring stakeholder input, as needed. Deliver timely and accurate responses to questions and requests for support that come through the People Operations team.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

Experience & Expertise

Talent Leadership: 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced talent organization, ideally in a high-growth global tech company.

HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of employment law, with the ability to apply it as a trusted HR advisor. Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Adaptability & Initiative: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving projects, and managing change in a dynamic work environment.

Business Partnership: Experience supporting cross-functional global teams.

Employee Relations: Experience providing Employee Relations support, offering thought partnership and guidance to leaders throughout the performance management process and addressing policy violations.

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:

$97,900—$146,900 USD
