Senior Full Stack Engineer
We are seeking three to four Senior Full Stack Engineers to join a dedicated pod supporting the development and customer expansion of a SaaS platform used by behavioral-health and government agencies. The client recently launched One Course Product and needs to scale rapidly to onboard multiple customers requiring unique modules, workflows, and platform capabilities.
Engineers will work across backend services, APIs, data models, and React interfaces. This role requires strong autonomy, clear communication, and the ability to deliver production-quality software within an established architecture and fast-moving client environment.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-specific modules for a healthcare SaaS platform.
Build backend services and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
Develop responsive and maintainable frontend functionality using React and TypeScript.
Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, migrations, and data models.
Develop reusable services, components, libraries, and shared platform capabilities.
Work effectively within a monorepo and follow established code-organization and architecture standards.
Translate product designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria into reliable software.
Write unit tests alongside feature development and collaborate with QA on broader validation.
Participate actively in code reviews, estimation, technical discussions, and Scrum ceremonies.
Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and blockers early and communicate them clearly.
Use Cursor within the client’s AI-assisted development workflow while reviewing and validating generated code.
Support defect resolution, production readiness, launch stabilization, and documentation.
Required qualifications
5 or more years of professional full stack software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Production experience with NestJS or a comparable Node.js backend framework.
Strong experience developing modern web applications with React.
Solid PostgreSQL and relational data-modeling experience.
Experience designing, building, and integrating REST APIs and backend services.
Experience developing and maintaining production SaaS applications.
Familiarity with AWS-hosted environments and service-oriented application architecture.
Experience working in a monorepo or shared-codebase environment.
Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests.
Experience working in Scrum teams and using Jira.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
Willingness to use Cursor within the client’s required AI-assisted development environment.
Ability to comply with background checks, security controls, access requirements, and client VPN policies.
Preferred qualifications
Experience developing healthcare, behavioral-health, government, or public-sector applications.
Understanding of healthcare privacy, security, and compliance practices.
Experience developing configurable modules for multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
Experience with workflow engines, rules engines, permissions, or role-based access control.
Experience building reusable platform services, internal tools, or shared frontend component libraries.
Familiarity with logging, monitoring, observability, and production support.
Previous consulting, staff-augmentation, customer-facing, or rapid onboarding experience.
