This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and partner closely with executive leadership, People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Accounting, and the Board's Compensation Committee.

Summary of Role

Palmetto is seeking a Senior Director, Total Rewards to serve as the company's senior subject matter expert across compensation, executive compensation, equity, and long-term incentives.

This leader will own the strategy, design, governance, and evolution of Palmetto's compensation programs, with particular depth in executive compensation, incentive programs, and Compensation Committee support. The role requires a highly technical compensation leader who can translate complex market, financial, and equity considerations into practical recommendations for executives and senior leadership.

In addition to leading Compensation, this role will oversee Palmetto's Benefits and People Operations teams, ensuring the broader function operates cohesively and that its programs, processes, systems, and controls continue to scale with the complexity of the business. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on compensation expertise combined with experience operating in public company environments. This individual should be equally comfortable advising executives, developing Compensation Committee materials, modeling equity scenarios, designing compensation programs, and leading a broader team responsible for benefits and People Operations.

Provide leadership and oversight of Palmetto's Benefits and People Operations teams, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and operating rhythms.

Ensure benefits programs remain competitive, cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with Palmetto's broader rewards philosophy.

Oversee core People Operations, including employee lifecycle processes, HR systems and data, policies, compliance, and operational delivery.

Ensure strong governance, documentation, controls, and data integrity across Compensation, Equity, Benefits, and People Operations.

Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes while strengthening the employee experience and operational effectiveness.

Experience supporting a Board Compensation Committee. Public-company or similarly governed experience, including proxy/CD&A and SEC disclosure, is strongly preferred.

Broad-based compensation expertise, including structures, leveling, market pricing, and annual planning, using sources like Radford/Aon, Mercer, or WTW.

The ability to personally build sophisticated models and explain complex topics clearly to organizational leadership and executives.

Experience leading teams and adjacent functions, plus sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.

A bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree or CCP is preferred.
