What You’ll Get to Do

The Quality Manager oversees our quality program, ensuring that product, manufacturing testing, & reporting meet external industry & safety standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain quality reports across departments

Drive external quality improvement initiatives

Participate in meetings for the development & implementation of RPN activities

Play a key role in the Credit & Replacement (C&R) process, maintain product testing compliance (IGCC), & support resolution of external customer concerns

Participate in layered audits for process verification, gauge verification, error-proofing, & related activities

Serve as a liaison for external customer issues, working toward resolution of quality concerns to minimize liability

Serve as a liaison between glass associations & third-party certification programs

Investigate significant quality matters (high dollar value, complex or multi-supplier issues) toward customer resolution

Contribute to specialty projects aligned with corporate initiatives

Understand customer expectations & needs, outline quality standards, & develop quality control processes

Implement methods to inspect, test, & evaluate products & production equipment

Ensure products meet quality standards

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, & summarizing data

Train & coach production team members in production practices & quality assessment

Track products through the manufacturing process to verify accuracy at every stage

Perform final product inspections to confirm alignment with industry, company, & customer standards

Troubleshoot & problem-solve product quality issues

Support the implementation & sustainability of the Quality Management System within our Operational Excellence (OpEx) framework

What We Are Looking For

Minimum of 3 years experience in quality management or continuous improvement

Comfort working with Windows-based software

Strong verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with people at all levels of the organization & with external contacts

Ability to stay focused under pressure, meet deadlines, & manage multiple priorities with flexibility

CQE certification is a plus, not a requirement

Position Pay Range

$75,000—$95,000 USD
