Product Designer
About the Role
CoreWeave is building a modern, AI-first enterprise stack that helps teams operate at the speed and scale of our GPU cloud business. We are looking for a Product Designer, Internal Tools to design clear, efficient, and scalable experiences for the systems and workflows our employees use every day.
This role sits at the intersection of product design, enterprise systems, automation, and employee experience. You will work with Product, Engineering, IT, Security, Data, and business stakeholders to turn complex internal processes into intuitive tools that reduce friction, improve decision quality, and help teams move faster. You will design across a range of internal products, including workflow applications, operational dashboards, enterprise portals, self-service experiences, AI-assisted tools, and integrations across systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, ticketing, collaboration, supply chain, and data platforms.
The ideal candidate is comfortable moving from user research and process mapping to wireframes, prototypes, visual design, usability testing, and production partnership with engineers.
What You'll Do
Partner with Product Managers, engineers, and internal users to understand workflows, pain points, constraints, and desired outcomes.
Conduct lightweight discovery through interviews, observation, workflow mapping, usability testing, and analysis of product or operational data.
Translate complex business processes and system dependencies into simple, accessible, and intuitive user experiences.
Create journey maps, information architectures, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate intent clearly.
Design end-to-end experiences across internal web applications, forms, dashboards, approvals, notifications, search, reporting, and self-service workflows.
Establish clear interaction patterns for complex states such as permissions, exceptions, errors, approvals, bulk actions, data validation, and system handoffs.
Work closely with engineers throughout delivery to clarify designs, resolve edge cases, validate implementation quality, and make pragmatic trade-offs.
Build and contribute to reusable design patterns and a cohesive internal tools design system.
Collaborate closely with the CoreWeave Product Design team through regular critiques, design reviews, working sessions, and shared design practices.
Use, extend, and help evolve the CoreWeave Design System, contributing components, patterns, guidance, and feedback that improve consistency across internal and external product experiences.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, People, Legal, GTM, Data Center Operations, IT, Security, and Engineering.
Design thoughtful AI-assisted experiences, including copilots, recommendations, summaries, intelligent search, and workflow automation, with appropriate transparency and human control.
Use qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate on designs and improve adoption, task completion, time to resolution, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.
Help define design standards for internal products, including accessibility, responsive behavior, content clarity, empty states, error handling, and operational readiness.
Communicate design rationale, constraints, open questions, and decisions in a way that enables fast alignment and execution.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, service design, or a related field; equivalent experience is welcome.
A portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products, with clear examples of problem framing, process, interaction design, visual design, and measurable outcomes.
Experience designing for complex workflows, enterprise software, internal tools, operations, B2B products, or data-rich applications.
Strong command of user-centered design practices, including discovery, journey mapping, information architecture, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative delivery.
Ability to simplify complex systems, policies, and data into experiences that are easy to understand and efficient to use.
Strong interaction design and visual design fundamentals, including hierarchy, layout, typography, states, feedback, and responsive behavior.
Experience collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and subject-matter experts in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.
Comfort working with design tools such as Figma or equivalent, including component libraries, prototypes, and documentation.
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative signals to prioritize design improvements and evaluate outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and facilitate alignment.
A pragmatic, low-ego approach to design: thoughtful about craft, focused on outcomes, and comfortable shipping incrementally.
Preferred
Experience designing internal platforms, admin tools, employee portals, workflow automation, or operational systems.
Experience with design systems, accessibility standards, or enterprise information architecture.
Experience designing AI-enabled or agentic experiences, including human-in-the-loop controls and explainable system behavior.
Familiarity with enterprise systems and integrations such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, ITSM, identity, procurement, billing, supply chain, or data platforms.
Experience designing dashboards, analytics, data visualization, or other data-intensive experiences.
Experience conducting research with technical, operational, or distributed user groups.
Background in cloud infrastructure, data center operations, SaaS, or other high-growth technical environments.
Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk.
You love turning messy, complex processes into experiences that feel obvious and effortless.
You're curious about how enterprise systems, automation, and AI can make everyday work better.
You're an expert in user-centered design and thrive shipping incrementally alongside engineers.
