As the Principal Product Manager, AI Assistant, you are the strategic "Squad Leader" for one of our most critical company initiatives: leading the charge as we continue to evolve our AI Assistant, which will be central to how our customers work in the platform going forward. What we’ve built so far this year is far from a chatbot; it’s truly a marketing companion who can create emails, turn them into social posts, analyze your data, and basically be your go-to as you grow your SMB. Now, we’re looking for the next leader who can help it be the best in the industry.

What You’ll Do

Lead the strategic roadmap for our AI Assistant as a core platform capability, positioning it as the industry-leading marketing companion

Own the full product lifecycle - define features, manage prioritization, and drive execution with engineering and design partners

Drive adoption and engagement metrics by understanding customer workflows and removing friction from how SMBs use AI in their marketing

Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and customer success to articulate the AI Assistant's value and capture competitive differentiation

Define success metrics and build the business case for AI investments, ensuring ROI and impact on customer acquisition and retention

Mentor other PMs on AI building best practices

Represent the AI Assistant vision in company strategy sessions and ensure alignment with broader platform priorities

Who You Are

8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning AI or ML powered products in production is required

Track record of taking a product from "good" to "best in class" in a competitive category, not just shipping features

A bias for shipping and learning fast over perfecting before launch

Deep intuition for your target customers: you understand their constraints, workflows, and what "good enough" actually means for a small business

Ability to drive the team through uncertainty or high stakes to achieve the goals

Comfortable operating at the intersection of LLMs, UX, and business outcomes; you don't need to write the models, but you know how they work and where they break

Strong opinions on what makes AI products feel magical vs. gimmicky, and you can articulate that clearly to engineers and executives alike

Data-driven decision maker who can go deep into our Snowflake environment with Claude to get to the core of why things work or don’t work

Experience leading or mentoring other PMs; you make the team around you better

Excellent communicator who can translate technical AI capabilities into customer and business value for any audience

Nice to Haves

Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, or PLG (Product-Led Growth)

A technical background

Background in growth-focused initiatives (onboarding, monetization, or retention)
