About the Role

The Media Operations team is focused on hands-on-keyboard activation of digital channels - inclusive of tagging, trafficking, buying, & more - and how & where to use the right digital platforms, and use them well, to achieve media and business goals. We ensure consistency, governance, and support around platform usage and activation activities, and aid in all ongoing building, buying, optimization, and reporting efforts.

In this Paid Search Delivery Lead, Media Operations role, you can expect to support both existing and new relationships with partners in an end-to-end fashion, with a specific focus on hands-on Paid Search campaign activation, optimization, and delivery. As a strategic partner, this role will help advise and lead clients and peers on industry trends and ways to harness different technology solutions to drive long-term value

Note: This is considered a remote role, and you can expect to work with clients and other team members located across the US and/or internationally.

Responsibilities:

Utilize your project management experience and technical media skills to oversee quality campaign delivery from client teams and own client communications and relationships. You’ll be a key part of leading team projects and the management of our end-to-end engagements and relationships with clients themselves.

Architect Paid Search strategy and lead campaign planning, builds, optimization, and ongoing management of our clients’ Paid Search efforts

Build trust and rapport with clients and own client communications and updates, review requests and questions, and troubleshoot issues on platforms and media execution

Work effectively with team members to complete day-to-day tasks for both clients and internal efforts

Collaborate with peers to share and receive learnings, from both internal and external sources

Execute and manage Paid Search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, SA360, and Microsoft Ads, including campaign builds, bidding, budgets, keyword and search query management, and ongoing optimization

Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities and troubleshoot platform or execution issues to improve results

Utilize internal tools and processes for day-to-day work and task completion, e.g. Slack, GSuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.

Mentor and develop team members and contribute Paid Search subject matter expertise to Media trainings and initiatives

Maintain an understanding of the ad industry landscape, .Monks Media Activation services, and identify opportunities to grow business with clients

About You

The essentials:

We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on Paid Search expertise who can combine technical proficiency with successful project execution, client management, and team leadership within a constantly changing environment.

Strong hands-on proficiency in Paid Search platforms such as Google Ads, SA360, and Microsoft Ads

Demonstrated experience building, managing, optimizing, and analyzing Paid Search campaigns

Strong understanding of Paid Search campaign structure, bidding and budget management, keyword and search query management, measurement, and performance optimization

Conceptual understanding of the broader digital media landscape and how Paid Search fits within the overall media ecosystem

Ability to outline, plan, and manage projects, inclusive of identifying relevant task owners, defining key performance indicators, and ensuring timely and effective delivery/results

Ability to identify and act on explicitly stated as well as implicit problems, roadblocks, and next steps

Ability to work with and contextualize data in service of clients’ business goals, including identification of necessary and/or helpful inputs, accurate and consistent manipulation of data sets, and analysis against data to identify relevant trends, outliers, and/or important outputs

Demonstrated ability to work with data in standard tools such as Excel and/or Google Sheets

Ability to prioritize tasks & schedules and identify conflicting timelines or concurrent needs and help team members prioritize their tasks

Ability to run effective internal and/or external meetings, inclusive of agenda-building, material preparation, note taking, and identification of action items and effective delegation of tasks to junior team members

Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with both internal and external stakeholders

Strong organizational skills to manage one-off tasks and larger or longer initiatives, and to manage your own work in conjunction with team needs and priorities

Strong self and social awareness skills, demonstrating an ability to moderate your own personal state and stress and recognize how to best work with clients, teams, and individual peers

Ability to assess and address team member developmental needs

4+ years of hands-on Paid Search experience

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range:

$95,000—$105,000 USD
