Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

What you will be doing

As an Operations Project Manager, you will drive complex cross-functional initiatives that sit across teams and do not always have a natural functional owner. You will turn high-level business objectives into structured execution plans, bring the right stakeholders together, and ensure projects move from idea to completion. This role is a strong fit for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, creates structure quickly, and takes ownership of outcomes rather than simply coordinating tasks.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional operational projects from initial idea through execution and completion

Translate business objectives into clear project plans, milestones, deliverables, owners, and deadlines

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle

Identify and track dependencies, risks, blockers, and key decisions

Maintain clear visibility into project status and proactively escalate issues when necessary

Drive business operations and organizational initiatives that require coordination across multiple functions

Work with external advisors, partners, and service providers when required

Maintain clear project documentation, action trackers, and decision logs

Support the launch of new operational processes and company-wide initiatives

Ensure completed projects are transitioned to the appropriate long-term functional owner

Continuously identify opportunities to make cross-functional execution simpler and more effective

You should have the following

3–5+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Operations, Program Management, or a similar role

Proven experience independently managing complex cross-functional projects from start to finish

Strong ability to turn ambiguous or high-level objectives into structured and executable plans

Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills

Strong ownership mindset and consistent follow-through

Ability to manage several projects and competing priorities simultaneously

Strong written communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Ability to identify risks early and escalate issues effectively

English at approximately B1+ level for collaboration with international stakeholders

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and requirements may evolve

Nice to have

Experience in startups, hardware, defense tech, manufacturing, or other regulated environments

Experience coordinating projects across international teams

Experience working with external advisors, partners, or regulatory stakeholders

Experience building operational processes or project management practices from scratch
