The Role

Addepar is looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our APAC recruiting function from our Pune, India office. This is a player-coach role: you will lead and develop a team of recruiters while also owning a portfolio of critical requisitions yourself, across our Go-to-Market (Sales & Services), R&D (Engineering, AI, Data, and Product), and G&A (Finance, Legal, People, IT) organizations.

You will act as the senior recruiting voice for the region, setting hiring strategy in partnership with regional and global leaders while staying close enough to the work to know exactly what's happening in the pipeline. You are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, balancing global talent acquisition standards with the realities of local markets, and you know how to translate broad company hiring goals into a concrete regional plan.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters across multiple functions, setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and building a strong bench of recruiting talent in the region

Personally own and manage a portfolio of high-priority, senior, or complex requisitions end to end, from intake through offer and close, across GTM, R&D, and G&A

Set the APAC recruiting strategy in partnership with regional business leaders and global TA leadership, translating company-wide hiring goals into a regional plan that reflects local market realities

Operate effectively in a matrix organization, balancing global process and standards with the needs of local hiring managers, functional leaders, and business units

Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their staffing needs, advise on hiring strategy, and build durable, trust-based relationships across the region

Drive workforce planning conversations with business and People leaders, helping them think ahead of open reqs rather than react to them

Bring a strong point of view on how AI and modern recruiting tools (sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate engagement) can improve speed, quality, and consistency across the team, and lead adoption of new tools and workflows

Use recruiting metrics (time to fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and more) to diagnose bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement across the funnel

Ensure a consistently excellent, high-touch candidate experience, and represent Addepar's employer brand across APAC markets

Stay current on employment law, hiring practices, and market compensation trends across the APAC countries in scope, ensuring recruiting activities remain compliant and competitive

Partner with University Recruiting and campus programs where relevant to build long-term talent pipelines in the region

Who You Are

8-10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 5-7 years directly managing and developing a team of recruiters

Proven experience recruiting across multiple functions (for example: GTM, R&D, and G&A/Corporate), not just a single specialty, with the range to flex between technical, commercial, and operational hiring

Experience operating in a matrix or global organization, working across functional and geographic reporting lines and building consensus without formal authority over every stakeholder

A genuine player-coach: equally comfortable setting strategy in the boardroom and getting into the details of a live requisition

Strong track record using data and recruiting metrics to make decisions, tell a clear story to leadership, and hold the team accountable to outcomes

Hands-on experience with AI-enabled recruiting tools and modern sourcing technology (for example: AI sourcing/screening tools, conversational scheduling, or GenAI-assisted workflows), with an eye for what's genuinely useful versus hype

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred) and the broader recruiting tech stack

Deep familiarity with APAC talent markets and the employment landscape across the relevant countries in scope; working knowledge of local employment law and compliance considerations

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and adjust style across cultures and seniority levels

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification is a plus
