How you’ll demonstrate Ownership

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Tax Manager to oversee our international tax compliance, strategy, and reporting. Headquartered in Phoenix, our footprint spans key global markets including Norway, India, Japan, the UK, and the UAE. In this role, you will be the bridge between our US headquarters and our international entities, ensuring full compliance with local tax laws while optimizing our global tax footprint.

International Tax Compliance: Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns for international subsidiaries (Norway, India, Japan, UK, UAE) working alongside local third-party providers.

US International Tax (Outbound): Manage US tax compliance related to foreign operations, including Forms 5471, 8858, Pillar Two compliance, GILTI, Subpart F, and Foreign Tax Credits.

Transfer Pricing: Maintain, update, and enforce the company’s global transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements, ensuring alignment with OECD guidelines.

Tax Provision & Accounting: Assist with the quarterly and annual global tax provision (ASC 740 / IFRS equivalent), managing effective tax rate calculations and deferred tax assets/liabilities.

Cross-Border Advisory: Provide strategic tax advice on cross-border transactions, permanent establishment risks, withholding taxes, and funding structures across our regions.

Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for international tax audits, working closely with local tax authorities and internal finance teams.

As our Global Tax Manager, you will navigate:

India: Complex withholding tax (TDS), transfer pricing compliance, and GST matters.

Norway & UK: Divergent corporate tax regimes and regional VAT compliance.

Japan: Multi-layered corporate enterprise taxes and strict reporting compliance.

UAE: Adapting to and maintaining compliance under the corporate tax regime.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s in Taxation, CPA, or JD preferred.

6–9 years of corporate tax experience, with at least 3+ years focused heavily on international tax (mix of public accounting and multinational in-house experience preferred).

Strong working knowledge of ASC 740, US international tax reform, OECD Pillar Two, and general foreign tax concepts.

Proficiency with corporate tax software (e.g., OneSource, Vertex) and global ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).

Exceptional ability to translate highly complex tax laws into actionable business insights for non-tax executives
