JOB PURPOSE

As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will support the Corporate Finance Manager and the broader Group Control team across a wide range of strategic financial activities. The Corporate Finance function collaborates closely with executives, top management, and teams such as Group Control, Group FP&A, M&A, legal, and tax to drive key initiatives including post-acquisition processes, audits, bank refinancing, equity transactions, and more.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial models and perform in-depth valuation analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Assist in preparing company share valuations for acquisition-related equity rollovers, management buy-ins, and buyouts.

Support the maintenance of the global capitalisation table, ensuring accurate representation of investor shareholdings.

Assist in the global audit process and the preparation of the consolidated annual report.

Help address complex valuation and accounting matters under IFRS, including purchase price allocations (PPA), earn-out reporting, valuation modelling for goodwill impairment testing, and going concern assessments.

Prepare covenant reporting for banks.

Assist the Group Control team with various accounting and month-end closing activities.

HARD SKILLS

Thorough analytical and financial modelling skills with strong understanding of valuation techniques

Strong proficiency in MS Excel

General understanding of a digital agency revenue model

General knowledge of accounting principles

General understanding of budgeting and forecasting

SOFT SKILLS

Can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn

Ability and willingness to manage workload fluctuations, including periods of high intensity and downtime

Strong quantitative and analytical mindse

Effective problem-solving skills - ability to approach issues in a structured and logical manner, delivering practical and pragmatic solutions

Good people skills - ability to communicate effectively with various (senior) stakeholders across the company

Ability to balance precision with timely delivery

Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

Final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in finance, business administration, or a related fiel

Demonstrable interest in corporate finance

Strong attention to detail and diligence to ensure accuracy in valuation models

Proficient in MS Excel with strong analytical abilities

Organised, curious self-starter who proactively asks questions and takes initiative

Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organisation

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively across multiple organisational levels

Being available from September/October 2026 for 4 or 5 days a week for an internship duration of 5-6 months;
