ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Tide continues to grow across multiple markets, strong financial management is essential to helping us scale responsibly, profitably and sustainably. As our Head of FP&A, you will serve as a core strategic Finance Business Partner to multiple leadership teams.

In this high-impact, multi-faceted leadership role, you will shape workforce strategies, lead complex investment cases, and oversee key operational expense drivers—from fraud loss P&L and vendor contract structures to AI token costs and cross-functional capacity modeling.

You will bring data-backed financial discipline and strategic oversight to ensure Tide continues gaining operational leverage as we launch new products and expand internationally.

This is a highly visible global leadership role where you will partner closely with Directors, Product & Engineering leads, and the Finance SLT to tell the story behind our numbers and ensure Tide balances ambitious growth with sharp operational and financial discipline.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

This is a global role in which you will:

Partner with Leadership: Act as the key finance business partner to Product & Engineering, Member Ops, Risk & Fraud, and Enablement area leaders, shaping strategic, workforce, procurement, and investment decisions.

Drive Business Cases & Investment Funding: Design and build business cases for Member Ops investments and fraud/risk prevention tooling, managing them through the Finance SLT to sign-off and bridging BizOps to the CFO office.

Lead Capacity & Workforce Planning: Lead capacity modeling and workforce strategies, balancing trade-offs across stakeholders while aligning to finance and SLA targets.

Set Budgets & Target Efficiency: Set budget parameters and efficiency targets across operational teams, connecting Product & Engineering roadmaps directly with operational delivery.

Manage Commercials & Vendors: Execute the commercial review framework for Member Ops vendors alongside procurement, managing contract structures, renegotiations, and make-vs-buy decisions.

Own Fraud Loss P&L & Exposure: Own the fraud loss P&L across forecasting, actuals tracking, and variance analysis, while leading multi-region fraud exposure scenario modeling.

Align Cross-Functional Loss Assumptions: Connect the financial impact of Risk & Fraud to Collections and Treasury, keeping loss, recovery, and provisioning assumptions aligned across teams.

Own Narratives & Reporting: Partner with operational directors to control the financial narrative on vendor outcomes and fraud performance reported to the CFO office, while reporting cost-to-serve and ROI to the SLT.

Optimize Data Availability: Work closely with Data Engineering, BizOps, and Financial Reporting teams to ensure robust data availability for Risk reporting.

Manage Enablement & Operational Costs: Direct cost management across software consolidation, contractor spending, real estate/CAPEX, P&E, and AI token usage.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

You'll likely have:

10+ years of Commercial Finance & FP&A Leadership: Senior Finance Business Partner experience within high-growth fintech, digital banking, or tech environments.

Operations & Risk Expertise: Hands-on experience partnering with Member Ops and Risk/Fraud leaders on capacity modeling, SLAs, and multi-region fraud exposure.

P&L & Loss Ownership: Experience owning fraud loss P&Ls (forecasting, variance analysis) and aligning loss assumptions across Treasury and Collections.

Opex Control: Proven track record in vendor contract renegotiations, make-vs-buy decisions, software consolidation, and managing AI/token costs.

Investment & Portfolio Strategy: Ability to build CFO-level business cases, model multi-horizon ROI, and manage pod/incubation funding models.

Executive Influence: Clear communication skills to bridge operational metrics with financial narratives for the CFO and Senior Leadership Team.

MBA or CA qualification

Most importantly, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on unlocking operational leverage as we scale, and care deeply about building sustainable financial foundations to support Tide's global growth.
