Group Finance Operations Manager
The Group Finance Operations Manager serves as the operational second-in-command to the Director of Group Finance Operations, driving the day-to-day execution of our global Finance Transformation Roadmap. Working directly alongside the Director, the AI Programme Manager and the Group Finance Systems Manager, you'll act as the execution engine for the department — removing project bottlenecks, optimising month-end processes across operating entities, and bridging complex business requirements with cross-functional engineering, IT and local finance teams.
What you'll be doing:
Roadmap Delivery & Programme Execution:
Own the operational delivery velocity of consolidated transformation workstreams, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope
BAU Process Optimisation & Control Frameworks:
Partner with local Heads of Finance to reimagine end-to-end operational workflows (P2P, R2R, Cash & Working Capital), standardising controls, compressing month-end closing cycles and ensuring audit readiness
Cross-Functional Team Collaboration:
Serve as the central coordination hub, working alongside technical leads (AI Programme Manager, Group Finance Systems Manager), Group IT/ERP teams and local Finance AI Champions across all group entities
Business Requirements & Product Delivery:
Gather, translate and refine functional finance requirements into concrete deliverables for engineering and business software teams; validate prototype builds and lead operational rollouts
Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management:
Drive active change adoption across local markets, establish clear communication channels, manage operational escalations and deliver executive reporting dashboards for senior leadership
What we are looking for:
5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Big 4 Financial Advisory/Audit, or fast-paced FinTech/Tech transformation environments
Deep, hands-on knowledge of core financial operations (General Ledger, Month-End Closing, Procure-to-Pay, Working Capital, Audit Standards and Internal Controls)
Strong proficiency in handling high-volume financial datasets
Working knowledge of financial systems (Dynamics 365, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, ERP workflows)
Enthusiasm for data-driven/AI-enabled automation
Proven track record of managing multi-entity delivery projects
Strong organisational skills to balance daily operational support with strategic change
Fluent English communication
