Full Stack Engineer, Contract

Overview of Role

We're seeking a passionate and talented FullStack Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Responsibilities

Application Development:

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications on GCP.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.

Develop and maintain APIs and microservices.

Implement best practices for cloud-native application development.

Cloud Infrastructure:

Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using GCP services.

Optimize performance and cost of cloud resources.

Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure.

DevOps and CI/CD:

Implement CI/CD pipelines using GCP tools and other industry-standard tools.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.

Monitoring and Maintenance:

Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure application reliability and availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in application development.

Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure.

Experience in Python development.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Python and React

In-depth knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).

Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).

Preferred Qualifications:

GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer).

Experience in FastAPI and Django

Experience with agile development methodologies.
