As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Working Student Finance to assist with our day-to-day financial operations while taking the initiative to automate and optimize processes using modern AI tools.

What you'll be doing

- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable (invoices).

- Managing and actively following up on queries in the central finance inbox.

- Executing operational tasks and controls within expense management systems such as Pleo and Ramp.

- Proactively identifying opportunities and advising on automating and optimizing financial operations using AI tools.

- Supporting the finance team with various day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.

What we are looking for

- Available for 16 hours per week, with flexible hours (preferably set at fixed moments).

- Currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree (e.g., in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field).

- At least 1 year of accounting experience (such as processing bank transactions and accounts payable/receivable).

- Someone with advanced proficiency in Dutch, capable of working with Dutch accounting and banking systems.

- Hands-on knowledge and experience with various AI tools, such as Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT, to enhance productivity and process efficiency.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-starter mindset suitable for an international, remote-first environment.

- Eager to learn and excited to contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of Weaviate's finance function.
