About the Role

Mixpanel is growing in Europe. We're looking for a Field Marketing Manager to own our go-to-market presence in the DACH region, translating what works in our core markets into programs that resonate locally, in German.

You'll be the person who bridges our London-based marketing team and the German-speaking market: running events, supporting multi-channel campaigns and making sure DACH buyers hear from us in a way that feels native, not translated. Over time, you'll help us build the infrastructure to advertise and nurture this market in German at scale.

How This Role Fits the Organization

This role sits within EMEA regional marketing, reporting directly to the Head of EMEA Marketing. You'll work closely with cross-functional and cross-regional partners, particularly the DACH commercial team and central marketing functions.

The DACH commercial team owns pipeline and revenue relationships in the market. This role works alongside them day to day, sharing campaign briefs, aligning on upcoming programs, and making sure marketing activity converts into pipeline that actually gets worked.

On the central marketing side, this role partners closely with marketing operations, who own campaign setup, lead routing, and success measurement, to ensure seamless execution and representation. It also partners with revenue marketing, who own the paid advertising infrastructure, to help extend that capability into German over time

Responsibilities

Market Intelligence

Develop a working knowledge of the DACH digital analytics landscape: key personas, competitor presence, buyer objections, and what good messaging looks like locally. You’ll be working closely with the EMEA PMM lead to ensure an accurate and relevant positioning approach.

Bring structured market feedback to the broader EMEA marketing team on a regular cadence: what's resonating, what isn't and where the gaps are.

Identify DACH-specific engagement moments, including conferences, industry events, seasonal trends, where Mixpanel should be present at or reactive to.

Field Events and Experiences

Plan and execute in-person and virtual events for the DACH market: field activations, executive roundtables and Mixpanel-owned experiences.

Own the full event lifecycle: from venue selection and speaker management to on-site delivery and post-event follow-up with the commercial team.

Own the DACH events calendar end-to-end: planning quarterly and annual programs proactively, not reactively responding to requests from the wider team.

Manage external agencies, vendors and production partners: briefing, negotiating contracts and holding them accountable to quality and budget.

Track event ROI and pipeline contribution, and use that data to improve future programming.

Content Localization

Localise marketing content across formats: event copy, landing pages, email campaigns, one-pagers, and social posts. Adapt messaging from our core English-language programs so it resonates in the German market.

Maintain consistency of tone and positioning across all DACH-facing materials.

Partner with revenue marketing over time to extend localisation into paid advertising channels.

Act as the quality gate for all DACH-facing marketing materials.

Budget and Operations

Own the regional marketing budget: manage vendor POs, track spend against plan and reconcile event costs.

Collaborate with the central marketing operations function on campaign setup, lead routing, and ROI tracking.

Report on regional pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and program effectiveness.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

Experience in B2B field marketing or demand generation, ideally at a SaaS or analytics-adjacent company.

Native-level German with strong professional English — able to write compelling copy and brief agencies in both languages without a second pass.

A proven track record running events, both in-person and virtual.

Comfort working with ambiguity. DACH is a growth market for us, and you'll be building the playbook.

Collaborative, organized instincts, and the ability to stay closely connected to the market and the DACH commercial team while based in London.

Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools; experience with Salesforce and HubSpot is a plus.

Curiosity about data. You don't need to be an analyst, but you should be comfortable in a dashboard and ready to form a point of view on what the numbers mean.

Travel

This role involves regular travel to Germany, typically for events, as the EMEA marketing team and DACH commercial teams are both based in London. Expect around four to six trips per year, with some flexibility depending on the event calendar.
